My costume is my P.J.’s. I’m recovering from Open Cholecystectomy surgery I had on Thursday.

I’m working for a living today, so I guess I’m going as a Fool. The pay is the treat, and the taxes I’ll have to pay are the trick.

Porch light will be off, not participating this year. The neighborhood’s not nearly as popular with trick-or-treaters as it once was anyway, might get five or ten at most if I did. Back in the nineties it was a constant stream from dark until maybe 9 PM, at least fifty if not more, it was fun. Not enough little kids around these days.

A poor flight crew member; I’ll walk around in uniform with my pants pockets out like I have no money.

My “costume” will look just like a full sized bed on the carpeted bedroom floor. The ‘bed’ will have a man in it, who will be covered with a bright blue rayon quilt from Target. The ‘man’ will only be wearing Fruit Of The Loom cotton briefs. A flip phone will be on the nightstand, within arms reach.

Not costuming myself but looking forward to taking the two youngest out for T and T. I have a Sheriff Callie (girl sheriff from a kids’ cartoon) and a ghost.
