Jack Pearson played with Betts when he split from the Allmans for a while, then filled in for Betts with the Allmans in the ‘90s:

I used to watch him and his band The Nationals destroy the world at a little dive bar in Murfreesboro in the late ‘90s:

My wife’s from there and my folks moved there in the late 70s when I was at Ole Miss
