I just get tired of the silly changes. The moving of settings, etc.

I also don’t like the force they use to make you upgrade. I can’t use IE past 9 because I’m still on Vista. And more and more sites are changing over and thus useless for me.

I want my XP back. Heck...I’ll take 3.1, when Windows actually worked.

...

Until you got a BSOD.

Funny how nostalgia clouds people’s memories.

I have an old HP Laserprinter...completely out of date with Windows 10. I will have to buy a new printer, I guess.

Look on-line first (and talk to someone with some computer savvy). I have an old Brother 32-bit printer that wouldn't work with my Win7 64-bit system. The Brother site had updated drivers.

Makes one wonder how LINUX can pretty much make peripherals work w/o all the hassle - even if some end up in "limp mode" where not all the fancy (and generally unused) "special options/features" don't work. Wonder why Microsoft can'twon't do that.

wait until Windows 10 is developed enough to accept all your programs

That won't happen. No more than Windows 7 or 8 being changed to run all your Win XP compatible programs. There may be ways around it though.

Is it possible to undo Windows 10 download?

If you take an image of your PC before making such an OS change...yes. Just re-image the PC using your imaging software, etc.

If no image was created....you're SOL.

I am limited in PC knowledge but since the original post I’ve been checking all my programs and apps and everything seems okay.

Thanks

Good news.

Hey! Pretty soon I'll be Brad from Tennessee. Making moves to get there by retirement age.
