Bill Cosby testified under oath for about seven hours on Friday in response to a civil suit brought by a woman who accuses the veteran comedian of sexually abusing her when she was 15, a lawyer for the plaintiff said on Saturday.

1974? I can’t defend the man, but isn’t there a statute of limitations? Forty-one years ago? I’d have a terrible time recalling anything from a day 41 years ago. Imagine testifying, under oath, for seven hours. I suspect this is more about money than justice.

It’s mostly because Cosby went off the plantation and started criticizing the thug life.

Gloria Allred makes me SICK, but going just by the number of women who have come forward, Cosby seems guilty.

The Playboy Mansion is seductive on its own, and coupled with those drugs and booze, who knows?

There were many who innocently took an offered drink from him and woke up during or after being sexually assaulted.

I hope his penis rots off.

The Playboy mansion is a target rich environment by design. The women that darken its door know exactly whats’s going to happen. I detest cosby, but this pile-on is nothing more than a shakedown.

“I suspect this is more about money than justice.”

Your suspicion is wrong. Some of the young women I worked with at the time were working at the Playboy mansion, and they were telling me they did not like Bill Cosby and did not want to be working at the Playboy mansion anytime Bill Cosby was there. In other words, they were telling me they were afraid of Bill Cosby and he had a bad reputation among these women.

Bingo!

And it also has the effect of distracting us while Obama ruins this country.

I agree abd doubt very much what he did would have been considered illegal in the 1970’s.

See Post 9. The young women working at the Playboy mansion told me why they couldn’t stand Bill Cosby and did not trust him. This occurred in the same years as this complaint alleges.

“Your suspicion is wrong.”

Okay. Why is it happening now rather than 1974 or 1975? Why wait 41 years?

I quit jobs for WAY less than is alleged here.

“I agree abd doubt very much what he did would have been considered illegal in the 1970’s.”

It was very much considered illegal at the time. The women who felt threatened at the time were frustrated because Cosby was being protected at their expense, and they felt helpless to do anything about it. They tried to avoid Bill Cosby and hoped they wouldn’t have to be around him when they wee working at the Playboy mansion.

Because dozens of women have come forward now and there is strength in numbers. The phony SOB deserves everything that’s happening to his reputation and bank account$

On Dateline Friday, they interviewed 27 women who accused Cosby of drugging and raping them.

They mentioned a woman who was raped by him when she was 15 and that rape of a child has no statute of limitations.

The 15 year old girl was at the Playboy Mansion when she was raped. What she was doing there is beyond me.

“Okay. Why is it happening now rather than 1974 or 1975? Why wait 41 years?”

VIP abusers like Cosby wee and are still protected, and any person, especially female, who is young and does not have much money had little hope of getting any attorney and certainly not any state prosecutor to listen or do anything about a complaint of this kind. This is especially true of a young woman working at the Playboy mansion. Quitting the job can have long lasting consequences as well.

Another thought. The Playboy Mansion employed a woman who was under-aged? I’d think that, firstly, whoever approved this, parents, a manager, anybody, would be grossly negligent. I have no idea what the Mansion really is like, but assuming it’s a place to have sex (apparently) for pay, as a client (guest?) I’d make the assumption that a big company like Playboy would make darned certain that the employees were of legal age. Maybe there should be a lawsuit. But if so it should be against somebody other than the client. And, 41 years later? Regardless of what happened then, the timing draws attention.

Part of me feels that way - but another part of me is now thinking that this may be racist retribution.

Cosby was the only black speaking out about the black crime rate and the deterioration of the black family. He pi$$ed off a lot of blacks and a lot of liberals. One women accused him and then 15 more, smelling opportunity and $$, jumped on the bandwagon.

It's a hideous place. (Gothic). Even the pool and poolside. NOT "enchanting" at all.
