Yes, Kurds were the ones murdered in this “terrorist” bombing. IMHO it is likely that this was done in coordination with the Turkish Islamist-leaning government which is initiating a war with the Kurds.

The blast occurred ahead of a planned “peace” march to protest against the conflict between the state and Kurdish militants in southeast Turkey.

It had been organised by unions and civil society groups, according to Turkish officials. Tensions with Kurdish separatists have soared recently.

The explosion occurred at a time of growing security concerns in Turkey, and three weeks ahead of a parliamentary election.

So let me get this straight. Turkey, which is inclined towards killing the only group that really stands up to ISIS, is in NATO, even though Ergoden is muslim to the core and in the worst way.

If Turkey and Russia tangle, we will go to war to oust Russia and Assad out of Syria (even though the majority of Syrians including Christians wanted him to stay in power) so Assad can be replaced by ISIS or some version thereof.

Also, Turkey is known to let ISIS recruits cross their country untouched, probably even aided, to fight the holy war.

makes sense.

You may be not too far off.

I’ve been leaning towards Greece, Germany or Hungary (internal trouble with the immigrants).

What is a “suspected terror blast”? in the headline.

Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish state in 1922, imposed secular rule and absolutely despised Islam as a filthy Arab practice. He outlawed the fez, liberated women, and changed the written script from Arabic to Latin. Ataturk even closed Hagia Sophia as a mosque & turned it into a museum.

There’s talk Erdogan wants to reinstitute Islamic worship there. Cartoonists depict him wearing a fez & wishing himself the new Sultan. Not a good omen.

I thought a Kurd rally was bombed a few months ago. To me, they should be careful having these public protests.

Very sad, that we probably won’t find out who did this.
