If you were beaten to a pulp, lost an eye, and had your ribs broken, wouldn't you want to pursue justice against the one responsible? Harry Reid does. After being badly beaten up "by his exercise machine," he is suing for his injuries. Here's exactly how it happened (unless it happened a completely different way):
"The TheraBand was mounted to a sturdy object in his bathroom," according to the lawsuit. "While in use, the TheraBand broke or slipped out of Mr. Reid's hand, causing him to spin around and strike his face on a cabinet."
According to the document, Reid suffered "loss of vision in his right eye, a concussion, broken orbital bones, severe disfigurement and bruising to his face, hand injuries, facial lacerations, scarring, and broken ribs."

There is a pretty big difference between ‘broke’(a defective product) and ‘slipped out of his hand’(a defective hand perhaps...)

Reid: I am so fortunate that, um, it wasn’t over just a fraction of this way and hit me in the temple.

Reid: I am sightless in my right eye.
If this is truly how he was hurt, I don’t believe it because Reid is a pathological liar (a requirement for democrats), then I will say to TheraBand job well done.

Occam’s razor says this likely occurred after a lot of partying on New Year’s Eve. I thought that I had read somewhere earlier that his brother had kicked his ass in a drunken rage.
Well, anyhow, I guess he and his wife remain the greedy grifters and will have no hesitation trying for a shakedown settlement from the manufacturer of Reid’s cover story. They have zero shame.

But, an exercise machine is a quick couple of bucks for this money grubbing political has been hack. Besides, can the mfg co defend itself from an attack by the royalty class? Not likely.
Raise your hand if you can stretch your imagination far enough to believe those horrific injuries could be inflicted by an exercise belt snapping. :-)
