The prosecutor said authorities have "mathematical, statistical analysis of the improbability of them being able to achieve the results they did."

They was done in by disparate impact!

They won a bit to much. Pigs can get fat, but hogs get slaughtered.

The odds against winning the Powerball lottery are even greater than that but eventually someone always wins it.

lotto is a tax on the poor!

Just as soon as a few of the wrong kind win some, the US Justice Dept will take them out!

Not a problem here in Illinois!
Being broke, they do NOT pay the winners!

Pretty easy to see they were cheating, because you can’t even get 50% odds on craps at the casino. So winning any amount of money, over the long run, is statistically unlikely.

The odds for an individual player of winning are astronomically low. However, the odds of there simply being a winner, any winner, are basically 100% (because the jackpot rolls over until there is one).

Nice find!

Not that different from Las Vegas!
If you have a great memory and decide to play blackjack, do not win too much1
They will run you off.

They probably were using their player cards too so they could get comps. Dumb move.

No one is allowed to cheat in a casino except the house...everyone knows that.

Odds of winning the grand prize in the current Powerball format: 1 in 292 million (not nearly as long as the odds of what they claimed to have done.)

One guy took the plea. The rest are probably toast.

No need for the house to cheat.

If the odds 8-1 then the payout is 7-1 and you let laws of probability take care of things in the long term...

Statistically, the odds of winning the lottery are the same whether you play or not.

Even if you dont cheat and win, they can ban you.

Even if you win a slot payoff, they can claim a computer malfunction and not pay you.

Seems to be a common occurrence at the Indian run casinos.
Also popular in Las Vegas?
