So, when I used Explorer today, no issues, CHROME on my laptop has no problems, just the desktop

this goes away some times and then comes back

I think the NSA needs to reboot

Biggest problem I have is trying to view Daily Caller, which slows my laptop to a crawl, but that occurs with all browsers. Not sure what is up with that site.

Do note it is unwise to have more than one real-time antivirus running on your computer. They can serve to disable each other’s abilities.

If you are concerned you have a latent infection, download a self-booting version of AVG or Avast and boot up with that (it boots Linux) and do an antivirus scan with Windows completely disabled. You may very well find something.

Personally, I would download a separate AV than what you currently use. I highly recommend Avira’s free emergency disk, available here:

Are you running AVAST and AVG at the same time?

Running 2 virus programs at the same time can create problems — they can fight each other.

My Chrome browser runs much faster after installing Adblock.

Chrome is Google, the evil empire, uninstall it instantly.
It is eating your computers up.

Chrome is a clone of IE.

And it is just as horrible.

I use more than one browser also, but notice that what I do on IE shows up in the history of Chrome.

If I open a new tab on either IE or Chrome, the exact same 10 sites are saved in each one as if I had opened all the pages in both IE and Chrome.

With both of them open they often crash each other, but usually it is IE that crashes. Google owns almost everything now and everything they touch turns to crap.

I used Opera years ago, I think I will s-can Chrome and start using Opera.
