Roy Scheider was a very good but under appreciated actor
One of our all-time favorite movies.
And, yes, Don Ellis’ soundtrack was as edgy as they come.
(I’m a huge Don Ellis fan.)
One of the best cop films ever. Has all the right baddies too...especially Richard Lynch who was one of the greatest character actors ever.
Very good movie, thank you!
Does it feature the obligatory hub cap spinning wildly away from the wheel as the car rounds a corner? I like those scenes.
3-3-2-2-2-1-2-2-2.
Cannot tap my feet to the beat.
I think Ellis wrote in time signatures that were prime numbers, no matter how high.
Great stuff.
He was pretty good in Marathon Man too. That also was a great movie.
