One of our all-time favorite movies.

And, yes, Don Ellis’ soundtrack was as edgy as they come.

One of the best cop films ever. Has all the right baddies too...especially Richard Lynch who was one of the greatest character actors ever.

Does it feature the obligatory hub cap spinning wildly away from the wheel as the car rounds a corner? I like those scenes.

I think Ellis wrote in time signatures that were prime numbers, no matter how high.

Roy Scheider was a very good but under appreciated actor

He was pretty good in Marathon Man too. That also was a great movie.
