He needs to impose general tariffs on every country that runs a sigificant trade deficit with us instead of singling out individual companies. And I understand that’s allowed under the WTO agreements. Not sure about NAFTA.
It’s frustrating to see these companies moving production out of America, yet they still think they can sell into American markets and not contribute anything to our society. I’m with Trump, tariff them. But I think legally, you probably need to tariff all imports.
I think that high tariffs have been tried...it was a leading factor of the Depression.
It is frustrating to see companies move overseas. I really think that is due to high corporate taxes, unions and the “we want $15 an hour” crowd.
As long as we are here in this country, it is not illegal to move your company out of the country for profit.
