>My grandparents Laura and Howard have been married 73 years. In this video Howard is 92 and Laura is 93. Laura (Grandma) is at a hospice facility making peace with her final days. I was lucky enough to capture this precious, heart-melting moment between the two of them.
Your story is compelling, to say the least. Please keep us posted if you wish.
It is true that by virtue of a mere worldly love they could not, but what justification is there to coming back with a catty answer patting yourself on the back?
Surely the loving thing to say is to hope Christ comes, is accepted, and crowns their love... and nobody has said He hasn’t, and yet we still have folks bristling at hopes... not even pontifications... that God could in fact fulfill. Just because he didn’t sing Amazing Grace doesn’t prove they are unbelievers.
Your scripture is a cold lifeless one if it does not take note of the desires of God.
Or to emend, your scripture READING is a cold lifeless one...
What’s interesting is that some folks seem more enamored of making points where they weren’t even called for by the context (the answer could easily have been “Yes I hope they accept Christ so that just that happens”) than they are enamored of God.
If a soul won’t accept Christ it isn’t by some accident, it is after God has exhausted all possibilities which is the only approach that is consistent with His character. In which case the person would sadly be self centered and have nowhere he or she wanted to go in the end but to the king of self centered spirits. Is conduct like we see here consistent with enslavement to the king of self centered spirits? Some skepticism would be justified to entertain about that.
And Christians who would be vessels of impact for good in the world would do well to avoid their own liaison with the king of self centered spirits.
Are we to seek the approval of men or God? Truth is never popular when it comes against "feelings".
You condemned a feeling that did not need to be condemned, only completed.
Don’t give me this “FRiend” business with conduct more conformed to God’s enemy.
And your truncated use of scripture, not noting an important fact, does not return void either... it speaks of you.
Thank you for posting this! God bless you and them!
Please, everyone stop fighting on this beautiful thread. That will show the love of Christ more than anything.

I hope the canoe artist can bring himself to say that he, as even God does, hopes that this love is crowned by an accepted salvation by both parties in the supreme love of God.
But again maybe he can’t, maybe he holds to a theological model that has God as never transcending the role of mechanical puppeteer, driven by His own sovereign powers to never yield to anything even by choice. That also makes a triviality out of love, makes out of all its passions a sham kabuki dance, but who’s counting...
Like, “they shall know you by your love”?
Just who is missing the point here?
Good luck on your quest .
I admire your ability to bounce back after an unthinkable experience and to jump right into a new adventure.
I am sorry about your loss. It makes one ealize how short life really is. Safe Travels .
Best wishes when you get to Australia, be well and safe travels!

Just google up Mollie Ragonesi, the image on the web shows her before she lost weight, she was a very beuatiful russian/ german blonde. We had a very good relationship, as if we were twins, and honestly with her gone i have pretty much lost it all. I spent 6 days in the hospital.
I don’t care much for anything, correction, the only thing that has energized me has been supporting Donald Trump of all things. I watch all his speeches on youtube every day.
It’s people like you who drive people away from Christ.
“And Christians who would be vessels of impact for good in the world would do well to avoid their own liaison with the king of self centered spirits”.
That’s certainly right.
Godspeed your journey. I hope you find the peace for which you search.
regards,
