Please show us where any Apple or Mac fan calls Windows' users insulting names like "Macbots" or "iDummies" in any Windows thread. Find any circumstance where that has happened with the frequency you Apple thread trolls use such insults and slurs.

Exactly WHAT is your evidence for your insulting slur of over 700 of your fellow FR members who happen to use Apple products who are members of the FR Apple Ping list? The vast majority of them come from the Windows users' world, for-q-clinton and most likely still use Windows in their work. That means they know more than you do about BOTH platforms. They made an informed decision about what they prefer to use.

No, for-q. You've never proved it, because you cannot. I have actually done that survey in a systematic method and posted the results on FR with links to the threads and individual posts as raw data so my work could be checked.
I did a sampling of 300 Apple and 300 Windows threads on FR going back over years, more time for Windows because there were fewer Windows threads. I counted number of attacks, whether they were attacks on the platform, company, or personal against users or specific user. I also subjectively rated the attack as to mild, moderate, or virulent. . . and had some friends who were impartial rate the comments for those ratings.
I found that the sheer number of attacks in Apple threads outnumbered attacks in Windows threads, regardless of severity or target by 19 to 1! Severity was off the charts in the Apple threads on percentages of virulent and moderate compared to Windows threads. . . where the most likely comment was "Get a Mac," or "you should have bought a Mac." Targets of attack in the Windows threads were almost invariably the PLATFORM, while in the Apple threads the attacks were 66% targeted toward the users with the mildest insults being "AppleBots", "Stupid users" etc. . . and escalating from there. Attacks targeted to the platform included such things as "Toy computer," "Fisher Price toys for children who don't know how to use a real computer" (that's a compound attack) etc. . . and many that I could not even categorize because they had been zapped by the moderators for misbehavior, but were obvious beyond the rules of polite discourse for FR. Very seldom did I see a zapped comment in a Windows thread.
As I stated, these were all linked for anyone to look at the original threads and comments. Of course, I was attacked by the Windows users for even doing the survey. . . and some of THOSE comments were zapped.
I still maintain that you would be VERY hard pressed to find an insulting personal attack on a Windows user in ANY Windows thread, because the vast majority of Apple Mac users have BEEN Windows users.
Therefor, the challenge still stands. Find those attacks anywhere NEAR the level of vitriol you Apple Hate Brigade members spew in the Apple threads. I don't care if you have to go back twenty years. . . I don't think you will find it.
Then do it in a WINDOWS thread. . . not here where your implication is quite clear. . .

No, Don't put words into my posts. . . I am saying be aware of your attitude and what you say and where you say it. You have been slinging insults in the Apple thread and then sling another one. . . it will be interpreted in light of all the other insults as to who you are intending it for.

I run the Windows ping list, populated by a lot of avidly pro-Windows, pro-Microsoft FReepers. Why should you care if I were to post a lot of pro-Microsoft threads and vigorously defend Microsoft against criticism? Is it any skin off your butt? Does somebody have a gun to your head making you read my threads? There are all sorts of threads on FR with all sorts of obvious agendas: political, religious, social, technical. So why do you have a burr up your behind about Apple threads where somebody's got an avid pro-Apple stance? Seriously, who gives a flying frack?

I ignore probably 80% of the threads on FR because I'm not interested in them, or I know I'll just get annoyed if I read them. Try ignoring the Apple threads, it's easy. You'll like it. You're the one voluntarily trolling this thread instead of just ignoring it if you find Swordmaker's pro-Apple stance distasteful. And FR is just as much his board as it is yours or mine. Actually it belongs to JimRob; we're all just guests in his online living room.
"Building up a false persona". I suspect Swordmaker is on the level. He makes no bones about loving Apple and Apple products. "False"? As above, prove it or drop the slur.
"Unwitting forum". The Apple ping list has 700+ members, all voluntary. How many members are on your ping list(s)? There's a heck of a lot of interest in the Apple threads. "Unwitting"? I daresay FR members generally have wits. I suggest your characterization of FReepers is unfair and condescending. Who put you in charge of posting warnings on Apple threads warning of the danger of reading the article lest the reader become swayed by dangerous pro-Apple thoughts?
There's an easy fix for this problem you have with pro-Apple threads and Swordmaker in particular:
IGNORE THE APPLE THREADS. IGNORE SWORDMAKER.Seriously, trust me on this one. It's easy, it's effective, and you'll have more time to read other threads you like better.

I think you're going to see more and more of this. She told me the amount of Inbound scanning and other attack methods dropped by almost 50% once they implemented the blacklist for all PRC IP space.
I challenge you to find the other two threads that you dismissed. See I can do that too. I have better things to do than to fight with a macbot.

You are the one who made the assertion. I don't have to prove your negative claim. YOU HAVE TO PROVE YOUR MUCH EASIER STATEMENT TO PROVE. . . go into the Windows threads and find your Mac users personally insulting and slurring Windows users.
Your challenge is much more specific because I do not believe it exists. . . because I know you never proved any such thing. . . because YOU can't. The facts do not back your contention and never have. If you believe they are true, then it should be easy to prove. DO IT.
All you have to do is show us a vile, insulting comment from a Mac user to a Windows user, the kind you see all the time in Apple threads. You say they are common. Find them.
You say they are frequent and common, I say they are as rare as hen's teeth. I don't have to prove my negative, you have to prove your positive.

You can find all the Windows Ping list threads with FR search: just search on keyword "windowspinglist". Granted that's not EVERY Windows related thread, but it covers most of them in the past bunch of months, and there are a lot of 'em.
My own informal observation is that there are damn few nasty, trolling-type anti-Windows comments made by Apple users. There are some that are sarcastic, yes; there are even some that qualify as snarky... but for the most part it appears the Apple users are busy elsewhere. Only a few bother to visit the Windows threads, and fewer are there to make trouble.
Just my 2-cents as the guy that runs the Windows Ping List...
