Should have been:

Left out the “if” (the 2nd one).
He was right, of course: getting nagged regularly gives one a sense of proportion about life's other ills. :-P
LOL. Yeah, little stuff like that can be surprising. But it is subtle. I don’t care for much of today’s programming. You never know what they will try to place in front of you. I don’t want to see homo kissing, etc.
