This is a sign that tuition is WAY too high and not enough work is going on.
At my Alma Mater they tried to do away with the tradition of the Student Body singing “We Are the Boys” after the third quarter, the students told them they could stuff it.
The University of Tennessee has made itself look like an academic wasteland. No responsible parent would allow his or her child to go there. This is a form of tyranny, and it should be fought at all levels.
Reminiscent of how Martians would refer to one another in the short story; The Earth Men, one chapter of Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles.
Waiting for someone to sue because they are unwelcome and marginalized because they have been neutered of their gender and hence stripped of their identity and that they are not only offended but traumatized by the new system.
I prefer "Excellency", "Your Highness" or "Oh Great, Wise & Exalted One", otherwise I, too, am OFFENDED! (Quick, bring the smelling salts, I feel a fainting spell coming on...)

Thanks to unrelenting demands by the left for increasingly preposterous levels of political correctness over the past decade, people are simply fed up. Trump survives -- nay, thrives! -- because he is seen as the antidote, bravely and unimpeachably standing athwart political correctness.The new era of liberal political correctness -- in which colleges designate "free speech zones," words like "American" and "mother" are considered discriminatory, and children are suspended from school for firing make-believe weapons -- has reached critical mass. If not for the loony sensitivities foisted upon us by the left, someone like Trump would be immediately dismissed as unprofessional and unserious, an incoherent blurter. Instead, he's the equally extreme response to extreme correctness -- if everything is offensive in Liberalville, then nothing will be offensive in Trumpland.

They also tried to do similar things in France once, it was called the “Reign of Terror”
