Notice that Ike was the last President elected before television was a standard part of campaigning. That’s not a coincidence.
It was a great moment. So refreshing to see a real person up there. He says it’s real but then qualifies by saying “I do use hairspray”..funny line. But NO candidate would do something that would make them look so human.
More importantly, there is a large, well developed BRAIN under that hair!
Trump has done this act with hair for years.
Also, not a comb over...has a full hairline, with widow peak...just lousy taste in hair styles
Sure I noticed. I also know that bald men can make a valid contribution to the national dialogue. Trust me on this.
I don’t doubt it, but them’s the breaks. They can still be VP, and if something happens, they might get to be President that way, but I think it would take a pretty extraordinary bald man to get elected in the television age (if he wasn’t hiding it somehow for the cameras).
It is actually real.
As a young guy in old photos, he’s wearing the same weird ‘do.
Who knows why.

Maybe it’s the clothes he wears, or the way he combs his hair.

Megyn Kelly interviewed him just after he announced, she questioned it and he let her check, she raised that front edge and they showed a shot close enough you could see the hairline. She verified it was not a toupee.
It’s his real hair, just a bad job of combing it over...I’m not sure if he’s bald on top, he’s always had a strange looking hairstyle.
One thing you have to say is he does what he wants to and doesn’t scramble to please others.
If you watched his show, always filmed in the winter, you saw the Donald always looking deeply “tanned” except for his eyes, around which were “yuge” circles from glasses or protective goggles in his tan beds or spray tan shower. It made no sense to me that he didn’t have his eyes made up to blend the white owl eyes into the tan! It’s not a difficult job. But clearly he liked the way he looked with tan skin and white owl eye circles and didn’t give a damn even though surely Ivanka must have asked him to blend it out for a more natural look. But each week he looked like he just stepped off the ski slope.
He wants to look how he wants to look, and he doesn’t care what others think. You just know Obama and Lindsay Graham have teams of people advising their wardrobes. Who knows, their “dressers” might even go past advising.... ;)
