China runs a MASSIVE trade surplus with America.

Big time. Beyond big time, huge.

Trump is the only person saying we need to fix it. He is the only one.

Anywhere.

Trump is so right.

Leftists distract with the term “global economy”.

Americans more focused on “American economy”.

Stuff like this is why Trump will win.

The word “global” is code for America taking it in the shorts. Once you realize that, everything starts to make sense.

There’s no such thing as a trade ‘surplus’ or ‘deficit’. It’s an invention of unionistas and socialists to gain control over people. Every trade is fully paid for when completed.

If you buy $100 worth of groceries from your grocer there is no surplus or deficit. You got exactly what you paid for. You traded dollars for goods and did so of your own free will and choice. So did the grocer.

Now, set your grocer across the border in Canada and it’s still the same. I’ve taught you this again and again and you still lie about it. Stop lying. Capisce?

Great! That’s what I want, I want the American economy to be focused on. Everything government, wall street and large companies do today takes world interests into consideration first and America is not even 5th on the list.

The Chinese are thinking in terms of generations - lots of them. The very long view, with a concerted plan to accomplish that.

Our leaders don’t look beyond the next election, and how many after that it is until they can amass enough graft and greed to keep them comfortable in their waning years.

Trade surpluses or trade deficits don’t need to be “fixed”. Not overall and not with any one country. I like Chinese cheap goods and I want to keep getting them. I don’t want to subsidize having Americans give me a more expensive product. Do you want the US to be a textile driven economy or one that actually has high paying jobs?

“The truth is that while a small fraction of American manufacturing jobs migrated overseas over the past few decades, a far greater fraction of manufacturing jobs simply disappeared and are not coming back,” wrote Drezner. “The far bigger driver of these job losses is the creative destruction that comes from technological innovation and productivity increases.”

Correction, Mr. Drezner: Those technological innovations and productivity increases could have more easily occurred right here in the USA, were companies in the USA not so shackled by government regulation and high taxes.

Productive American citizens and productive American businesses are being sucked dry to feed growing populations of sub-human parasites who are fed by the parasitic government -- and some of those parasitic sub-humans are the wealthy crony communists of the Democrat and GOP establishment, media and entertainment, government unions, etc., who are fighting to keep the cronyism gravy train running.

In their view, the American middle class is a threat to the global economy.

I just want to make ‘one’ point. People, no matter where they live, want to get the biggest bang for their dollar. Fine that’s great, wonderful even, however to do that they need to have the money in the first place.

The best way to do that is with a Job that can pay all of your bills plus have enough left over to spend on the things that can make life more enjoyable. Like clothes to keep you warm in the winter or clothes to make you look more attractive to the opposite sex, etc.

If you send all of the high paying and then the middle paying and finally the lowest paying jobs out of the country then it’s either welfare and the EBT card or do without. And frankly the EBT card will only work until all of the taxpayers and lenders of money to the government have no more left to tax or lend.

And then my FRiends... you have a failed country. Venezuela or Zimbabwe for example. Both were once fabulously rich in resources and ability to find work. Now look at them... failed social experiments at best or more accurately put; successful Kleptocracys.

CNN, you and me started this thing on Free Republic, it looks like we are getting a lot of converts or patriots who are feeling it is ok/safe to speak up against 40 years of disastrous gloBULLism. Some times it is ok to pat yourself on the back.

Hmmm. Who do I favor in this contest??? This is a real stumper.

The bright. congenial, no bullshit guy with his feet planted firmly on the ground and with no discernible reason to tell us only what we WANT to hear instead of what we NEED to hear, who's worth $10 billion from his thorough understanding of the business world and how ludicrous it is for the richest country in the world to constantly run a 20 trillion dollar debt and a 1.5 trillion yearly deficit,

or ...

a bunch of liberal communists at the guardianista with their heads in the clouds who only want to look down on others, know nothing of the business world and float around in their own little liberal bubble that resembles nothing like reality.

Decisions, decisions...
