Capone Dead At 48; Dry Era Gang Chief (does he remind you of Hillary?)
ny times ^ | orig 1947

FROM THE ARTICLE, HERE ARE COMPARISONS TO THE CLINTON CRIME FAMILY -

His infamy made international legend. He was the symbol of the ultimate in American lawlessness.

Capone won great wealth; how much, no one will ever know, except that the figure was fantastic. He remained immune from prosecution...

By the end of 1925 Capone was riding high. He had a magnificent home on Prairie Avenue,...

The fat man from Chicago, blazing with diamonds, assumed an air of injured innocence.

He was turned out with the rest because all the other witnesses, like himself, related that they did not happen to be looking at the particular moment when the guns opened fire. Without witnesses the police had no case.

His highly paid counsel tried to persuade a grim-lipped jury that their client was a persecuted man. (Hmmm...David Kendall is the Clinton mob attorney/mouthpiece)

The guilty always proclaim their innocence. We all know that the Clintons have violated the law for decades. Those with liplock on their posteriors never fail to defend them, no matter how egregious the violations.

I recall that Elliot Ness in his book said that Capone never was anything but pleasnt to him. I think he sort of knew that Ness was doing his job etc.

I would much prefer Capone as a neighbor to Hillary. I certainly would not do anything to antagonize Capone tho.

I’ve read he was taken down by VD after leaving Alcatraz.

They released Capone early because his third stage syphilis rendered him no longer a threat to society.

Scarface Al retired to his Florida estate where he became known for casting a fishing line into his swimming pool.

Yes, Capone had Syphilis. Turned his brain into Swiss cheese.

I new a guy whose grandfather was friends with Capone, or what they called friends.

His grandfather was a member of the “family”.

So what did they get Capone for — income tax?
What will they get on Hillary — emails? Plus, she will get a pardon.

The whole story is much, much worse.

I once worked with the IRS agent who brought Capone down on income tax evasion. Whatever worked legally.

Mr. Little was quite a guy.

My chairman/teacher at NVCC (Police Science), was the rookie FBI agent who received the first phone call from the German saboteur agent Daesch telling about their submarine landing and sabotage missions, and his desire to surrender.

Agent Furcolow was a great teacher too. PS His brother was also an FBI agent. Nice family

I read that Hoover hated Ness.

Ness turned out rather badly.

Most know the story:

Edward Henry “Butch” O’Hare was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward Joseph O’Hare and Selma O’Hare.

Butch had two sisters, Patricia and Marilyn. When their parents divorced in 1927,

Butch and his sisters stayed with their mother Selma in St. Louis while their father Edward moved to Chicago.

Butch’s father was a lawyer who worked closely with Al Capone before turning against him and helping convict Capone of tax evasion.[4]

In 1949, the airport was renamed “O’Hare International Airport” to honor Edward O’Hare,

the U.S. Navy’s first flying ace and Medal of Honor recipient in World War II.

I watched a interview on TV years ago with a retired prison guard. He said Capone was "Nutty as a fruitcake" toward the end.

It’s remarkable how young Capone was during the height of his fame. Born in 1899, Capone would have been 28 at the time of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. He died at 48, but is usually portrayed in the 1920’s in movies by actors in their mid-to-late-40’s.
