Last year, a 15-foot and 9-inch gator weighing 1,011.5 pounds was caught in Meek Creek, a tributary of the Alabama River. About 115 pounds of that gator was a deer in the gator’s stomach.

Perhaps we could put the gator to good use:

Suggest redeploying it to the Rio Grande.

Fishing on that lake should be better in the future. Big guy Gator has been eating all the fish.

The alligator is a natural part of the North American ecosystem.

That ... thing ... is from outer space.

“Wasn’t there just a 920 lb lady in the news also?”

She was much lighter...800 pounds.

IIRC, the 900lb+ woman was removed from a 5th Avenue abode.

We’re going to have to get a bigger boat!
I don’t know how that translates.

I remember stopping by the Okefenokee Swamp park on my way to Florida a few years ago. We didn’t have time for the tour, I just wanted my wife to see the 13 foot gator I had seen on a previous visit. I asked the ranger if it would be possible to see it. She said: “Sure! She’s right over there.” I looked, and about 100 feet away lay the behemoth, basking in the sun. Nothing in between us. I did gasp a bit, and the ranger explained they do keep her well fed, so there was no need to worry. She also advised that we should not walk over there for a closer look.

Probably escaped from the bait bucket on his way to Louisiana ;-)

Yeah with Yankee tourists. Just one or two a day.
