The US is in a historic hurricane drought, according to NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. The fading of Hurricane Danny, which peaked as a Category 3 storm over the Atlantic, came as no surprise Saturday.

ATLANTA — Hurricane Danny, a small hurricane that at one point reached Category 3 status as it moved across from Africa toward the Leeward Islands, has weakened quickly and by Sunday should be reduced to tropical storm status. An unusually strong atmospheric wind shear can be seen on satellite images Saturday literally whisking the storm away.

To be sure, Danny remains a dangerous development. Slated to hit the Virgin Islands early in the week, the storm could still cause wind-and-rain damage to island interests. But its days as a hurricane are likely over as El-Nino-fueled shearing winds discombobulate its core, weakening it in the process.

You all forget that Global Warming causes everything!

Also everything it causes is bad and our fault.

So whenever we’re up to here in whatever our sins have caused, we’ll have to lament “If only we’d paid more taxes!”.

Oh no - whatever will we do, how can the weather channel survive unless we have a major hurricane. I know, maybe they can hype global climate change a little more!

Had plenty of them brewing up off western Mexico in the Pacific causing us irritation. So far, just rain from close passes.

The ice caps and glaciers are melting, cooling the ocean. Just wait and see what happens when all the ice is gone!

“Simple answer: strong El Nino. Earth’s weather is cyclical.”

A simpler answer: the Sun

Easy..

Because liberals said there would be more and larger ones because of global warming. And liberals are always wrong, thus we have had almost no hurricanes.

"And liberals are always wrong, thus we have had almost no hurricanes"

Just watch. Liberals will say that NO hurricanes = more global warming.

And watch the MSM eat THAT $hit sandwich.

Yup. It gets hot in Texas. Fancy that.

A while back they had a record number of days of over 100 degrees.

Then global warming hit. Hasn’t been as hot since.

The ice caps and glaciers are melting

Well, they are as long as no one looks at the actual data.
