I keep seeing this statement. There is zero logic or reason to it. Trump is in the lead. Out of a field of 17 candidates, he’s far ahead of all of them to include the GOPe golden boy Jeb. Yet he should drop out of the Republican party and go Independent? Now? For what reason?

Because that’s what the GOPe wants him to do. They think he’ll lose support and the R voters will then “wake up” and vote from do the establishment candidate. Not going to happen.

He’ll definitely lose support which is why it would be so dumb to do. I expect this “advice” from GOPe clowns, but I see it from some supposedly genuine supporters, too.

I don’t hear folks advocating for Cruz to go third party. I wonder why?
