There are many stories out there about Gideon. The similarity to Trump is intriguing. Like Trump, he was not born into politics, but chosen. I'm sure Trump agonized over the decision to run for president. I'm sure too, that he felt called to do this. There are too many things going on, that make me think that he is the one, to lead us from the nightmare of the past six years, and what threatens to follow.
We are on the verge of giving Iran nuclear weapons. We have a president who tosses aside our security now and for ever.
I suggest googling "Gideon" and read the story. I excerpt just one here.
Gideon was the fifth judge over Israel in the book of Judges. He is introduced in chapter 6 of the book while he was collecting wheat and hiding it from the enemy. An angel came to him and asked him to take on the task of overthrowing the Midianites.

Even if what you say is correct about Trump’s salvation or lack thereof, it is you who needs to reread your Bible. God can and does use anyone, saved or unsaved, to His purposes.

Trump doesn’t need anymore money. Anyone, even you or Trump can look at this country and what is going on and know it needs new direction and is on a downward slide that you (I think) and Trump acknowledge. So why not give the man a chance. I heard him on morning Joe this morning and he was calm and knowledgeable and un-snarky. I think he is fitting into the role of a new type of Reagan that will be good for this country and it’s Poor and Rich. Isn’t that what we all want? Success from the bottom on up in this country? I can also foresee Trump-Democrats just like Reagan-Democrats once existed.

You know, all of these attempts to try and paint Trump as someone pious and holy prove to me that his fans have done nothing to research and to vet him.
This is a guy who has been on Howard’s Stern show numerous times, talking about premature ejaculation, about watching Paris Hilton’s sex tape, rating women’s a##es, as he put it, etc.
You might want that in the White House, but I don’t.
Pff, it’s not unchristian to note that someone who admits never asking God for forgiveness cannot possibly be a christian. It’s just common sense.
