In light of the H-1B visa (scandalous) program I think STEM workers might need a union.
They sure as heck didn’t ask MY opinion of unions.
I know a lot of people are looking around at the post-union private sector economy and have decided things were batter when unions were bigger and more powerful.
This is part of the larger shift towards populism.
I don’t like Unions....for many reasons, but one of them is they give the dues to THEIR people in donation form for who THEY want to vote for....(clintons, bushes, obumas).....

Most employers treat people like craps these days. Most HR departments don’t even pick up an internal call. They have the ringers turned off. They recruit people they never even meet with key word search internet chases.
It is bad. It is needlessly costly. This merely reflects it.
I’m not surprised. The unions got out of control because they bought politicians. Now, there’s a real need to re-establish the middle class with US jobs for US citizens, at reasonable enough wages to live a self-sufficient life.
Opinions are like a$$es. Look up union membership statistics and you’ll see year over year declines.
The unions get dirt cheap labor, just like the companies they contract with, and get a reliable supply of social-democrat voters to further their cause.
And contrary popular belief here on FR, the majority of hispanics, legal or otherwise, are hard-core leftists, and think Bernie Sanders isn't socialist enough for them. Oh, and most of the hispanics here on the west coast are card carrying la raza/reconquista types, and use the unions to infiltrate companies solely to shut out the “native” population (ie: gringos).
As you saw in Portland, OR. the hispanic and white guilt liberal illegal employer types were falling all over themselves to endorse Sanders.
