"We"? You're leaning toward voting in 2016?
Regardless, if there's anything good coming out of this, it's McConnell stating what's REALLY important to him (if I can trust the writer): public perception of Republicans. It's not about what's best for the nation but, what's best for The Party.
"We are not doing government shutdowns and we are not threatening to default on the national debt." This 'tactic' bugs the sh*t outta me. Shutdown is THE ONE THING Congress can use to its advantage, and the so-called leadership takes it off the table before negotiations even start, just because the f'n sheeple might be led astray by the mainstream media's portrayal. Why not shut down the f'n government and let people see it doesn't mean a damn thing?!
And "default on the national debt"? The idea of default is TOTAL B.S. cooked up by the leftist media ... and the so-called leadership treats it like it could happen?!
Just F 'em.
And F everyone in Congress who voted to keep them in leadership.
....and the horses they rode in on.
