It was me. Between all the vanities, the “so who’s YOUR candidate?” thread responses, and the multiple posts of every junior high poll showing DT in the lead, I just lost it for a minute. Sorry.
I agree. He is one of the most powerful media barons (think W.R. Hearst/O. Wells in Citizen Kane) and thinks/hopes he will live forever. This is his stab at immortality.
The sad reality though is, if even if the Donald was not running, guest who would the troublemakers go after BIGTIME, BINGO you have it, one Sen. Ted Cruz! That is the facts.
Neither was on the attendee list for the 2015 meeting. Bush was to be in the area at the time of the meeting, which is suspicious, but they denied any connection.

Look. Trump is a disgrace. He needs to drop out now. He is a horrible choice. The polls register name recognition and shallow, fleeting emotions. Anyone who thinks clearly can see that he should stay at least 1000 feet from the Oval Office.I couldn't have said it better. The love affair with this guy that seems to be all the rage here totally baffles me. I see people renounce candidates at the slightest hint that they may have once taken a position those here disagree with. But Trump gets a pass on that. This is a guy who was a Democrat who supported Hillary, open borders, single-payer health care, pro abortion... You name it, he was on the wrong side of the issue. Yet now people are stepping all over each other to support him and will ignore seemingly any infraction.

If CNN had an ounce of professional integrity ,then surely they would choose or even instruct the "moderator". That person - again, if they had any professional integrity, should attempt to be fair. What could be wrong with that? Even in spite of their personal beliefs, a really concerned and professional person would try to be fair.
The utter corruption of much of the media is known here on FR. Unfortunately, it may be that the general public accept as the norm this conduct.
Please excuse the rant. The word "moderator" alone defines fairness. Shame on these corrupt merchants of an agenda.

It appears to me to be a purely psychological reaction to any criticism of Trump.
