Liks I asked in an earlier thread: "How is Microsoft going to monetize Windows 10? They have to have a way to do that."

Microsoft had already indicated, years ago, that they would be monetizing their software development via monthly and/or yearly subscriptions for their services and applications. Windows 10 may be 'free'. but, whatever else comes into contact with Windows 10, may have an associated charge. That's what Apple and Google and every other apps or applications development company does, so, why is it a crime when Microsoft does the same exact thing?

Please show me where Apple charges subscriptions for any of the software they provide for their hardware? With the exception of their new Streaming Music system where they are providing third party content for a subscription, not software, you cannot. That shoots down your claim of ". . .Apple . . . does the same exact thing". Apple does not; Apple sells hardware and provides the software to complement that hardware.
