Not trying to be argumentative, but in reality, there is no such thing as a dry county, anymore.

The laws may be on the books, but just as much, if not more, alcohol flows in a dry county as a wet county...it's just much more private.

I speak from experience, based on past employment.

Most sheriffs and many smaller cities ignore it, unless it is openly bootlegged and/or underage drinkers are one of the targets for the bootlegger or if it provides probable cause to proceed further on an arrest.

That experience I spoke of also told me that most of those that ignore the blue laws or prohibition are democrat and just about as liberal as they come, particularly if it is a primarily Republican county anyway.
