That out of my system...if she can coach, so be it. I’m sure the usual suspects will try to Michael Sam the entire situation, praising her endlessly, and screeching discrimination if she is fired, etc. But she just might have the talent to coach.
I knew a couple gals who played women’s semi-pro football in the early 2000’s. Neither could have hoped to make an NFL team, but both were serious “students of the game” and knew all there was to know about designing plays, spotting talent, and so on. A heck of a lot more than I did. It could be this woman is of a similar vein. We’ll find out soon enough, media hype or not.
