Three scientists investigating melting Arctic ice may have been assassinated, professor claims
The U. K. Telegraph ^ | July 25, 2015 | Robert Mendick

A Cambridge Professor has made the astonishing claim that three scientists investigating the melting of Arctic ice may have been assassinated within the space of a few months. Professor Peter Wadhams said he feared being labelled a “looney” over his suspicion that the deaths of the scientists were more than just an ‘extraordinary’ coincidence. But he insisted the trio could have been murdered and hinted that the oil industry or else sinister government forces might be implicated. The three scientists he identified - Seymour Laxon and Katherine Giles, both climate change scientists at University College London, and Tim Boyd of the Scottish Association for marine Science - all died within the space of a few months in early 2013. Professor laxon fell down a flight of stairs at a New year’s Eve party at a house in Essex while Dr Giles died when she was in collision with a lorry when cycling to work in London. Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland. People pooh pooh the idea of conspiracies... but powerful men and women conspire all the time... to do TERRIBLE things.

And the more powerful you are, the more insidious you can be.

What else do the top of the heap do but conspire to keep what they have and stop anybody from taking it from them?

Here in New Mexico, 3 scientists from the Labs went down in a plane on its way to Switzerland a few years back. It was one of the headline crashes went in the drink just north of New York City... I have to tell you, there were mumblings all over the Scientific community here.. because that plane was headed to a conference on Malaria.

These particular scientists were part of a contingent who thought eradication of Malaria in Central Africa was just months away...

go figure..

I have no opinion.

I’m just sayin... there was LOTS of talk around here.

To liberals, getting hit by lightening could be murder. But shooting yourself seven times with a nail gun is no doubt suicide.

"It’s pretty hard to control that lightning, but I bet he thinks that Big Oil could do it.

Well, Dick Cheney had that Halliburton Weather Control Machine that caused Katrina, etc. so yeah, of course Big Oil could do that. /s

Honestly, for the misery these Warmies have caused lesser developed nations to suffer for the idiot lie of global warming, I don’t really feel much loss here.

Global warming is a scam. Every time one of these so-called "scientists" publishes something it is relatively easy to find fault with their methodology, conclusions, equations/algorithms, data manipulation, etc. Seriously, the more these guys try to "sell" global warming the worse it gets for them, the more frenetic and ludicrous their claims become.

For the people who haven't bought into the global warming scam, such as "big oil" et. al. ... The *last* thing they want to do is stop these "scientists." Every paper is yet another opportunity to reveal the scam for what it is. So-called "big oil" has no motive here to harm these "scientists."

However, the proven liars on the global warming scam side... Well, they are seeing their hopes dreams and ambitions dashed on the rocks of reality. They are desperate - hence the ever more shrill tone of their rhetoric. They very much need additional ammunition to paint their foes in an unfavorable light. You see, adopting classic liberal rules for debate/argument, when they can't win on facts they go to ad-hominem attacks. Scaled up, this translates into attacking "big oil." What better way to do that than to make unsubstantiated allegations, rumor, and innuendo? Given the stakes - billions - I wouldn't put it past them, the global warming scammers themselves, to have had a hand in their colleagues' deaths, if there was foul play.

“Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland. “

So they found him dead and are speculating he was hit by lighting?

Yeah, like every Big Oil Company sits around in smoke-filled board rooms sipping cognac and smoking cigars and discussing which climate scientists they want to put out a hit on. They give them way too much credit.

Not sure. All I have heard about it is this article. I am sure there is something out there on the web.

This is settled. The consensus is that they were murdered. The man caused lightning strike is the giveaway.

Oh, there are others. Big Oil caused the Glencoe Avalanche below.

It is the second tragedy to hit the association in just over a week. Christopher Bell, 24, a PhD student who worked at Sams, was one of four people killed in the Glencoe avalanche on January 19.

... struck by lightning while walking in Scotland.

Cheney at the controls of the Halliburton Weather Machine again?

Seriously, were these pro-AGW scientists that figured out civilization-caused global warming is a hoax, and were then deemed apostates and killed?
