From what I've read Cruz is for some sort of work permit program, not a path to citizenship.

Its not what I want but his is the best position out there.

I’m happy that he is shaking things up by glomming on to what the people want to hear, though he has no record of those views. In fact, even his recent record shows a vast difference. I will cheer on his message. However, I could support him no more than I could Bush.

If Trump wants to he could buy his or anyone else’s debate, flat out buy it, own it, run it....I'm not worried about that....

Those softheads in the GOPe and DMC and the MSM think they can tell us what we are going to have to do, well not anymore....we have a person like Trump that is not owned by anyone, he doesn't have lobbyists behind him, he doesn't have any threats behind him....unless the MSM makes one up...then heaven forbid the world will go into a tail spin...

What we have in Trump is NOT a politician...we have a smart, strong, tell it like it is businessman and he doesn't back down from anyone....

I'm hoping someone with a little more political credibility notices the untapped anger among the electorate and decides to harness it.

Conversely, I'm looking forward to seeing the higher profile 'concern monkeys' in the GOPe like Jeb Bush squashed like roadkill. As an example to the rest.

All I know is that Trump can kiss my ass if he thinks he can threaten me into voting for him.

Technically, it’d be a second party, since the Dems and Reps are one and the same under their more-evident-than-ever “bipartisan” Uniparty, doing the usual now-utterly-transparent Kabuki theater dances to create the flaccid semblance of a two-party system.

But what party now exists that could be a viable second “third” party? Whatever one that Trump may pick could have its profile rapidly raised overnight. (It’d be a disaster if it’s the LP, for many reasons, of course.)

Why should he have to pay for it? He should be treated fairly as any other candidate.

Will be voting for Cruz, Paul, or Trump in the primary but if none get the nomination, I will be staying home in November. No more holding nose when voting for me.

Please elaborate on his position, Lurker. This would be interesting.

I also think it is interesting how many people were all excited about Trump saying “oh, I will run as a Republican”...only to watch him flip-flop. A Third party run, like it or not, will be a Hillary win.

Trump knows this...

I know what it stands for. But Trump running as a Dem would mean the death of his campaign anyhow.

Didn’t he say he would only certain portions of the border need a fence?

Didn’t he talk about a pathway as well?

The problem is that while you say one thing, Trump is saying another.

The GOPe and DNC are a mixed party, do you honestly think they are separate parties? Review the voting records in the House and Senate and see if GOP voted ‘totally’ GOP and the same for the DNC, no they didn’t because we don’t have a TWO party system to RUN our government anymore....

Ted Cruz, unlike Rick Perry & others, has not personally attacked The Donald.

Cruz wisely re-directed the attention where it belongs, on illegal alien felons being released to prey upon Americans.

Same here—At the same time, the RNC/GOPe can kiss mine if they try to shove one of their annointed golden boys down my throat.

Fair enough.

However if he loses because of dirty tricks by the establishment, then the Republican party better expect at least 1/2 of their base to stay home or vote 3rd party.

The country isn’t going to go back to the old ways, no matter how much they want it to.

Many people want genuine change.

Make no mistake, the GOPEs and RINOs who lead the Republican Party consider their No. 1 priority -- a requirement above all else -- above stopping Iran's quest for nuclear weapons, above turning around the economy, above thwarting the traitorous actions of obama, the USSC and the Leftist-cult bullies, and on and on -- no, the top priority of the GOPE/RINO leaders of the Republican Party is the neuralization if not outright destruction of Donald Trump. To the GOPE/RINO leaders, nothing -- and I do mean nothing -- outweighs the importance of eliminating this real and growing threat to the status quo ... of removing from the political stage this man who threatens their power and positions.

If only the Republican Party leaders would fight those who are dedicated to destroying our Republic and burning our Constitution (as they do regularly to our flag) with as much vigor and relentless effort as they fight conservatives and others who dare speak of preserving traditional American values.

Donald Trump is not a pure conservative by any stretch, but he is passionate about what he thinks ... and that's alright by me.
