PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) A suspected shoplifter ran from store security and jumped over a railing at a Rhode Island shopping mall, falling 25 feet to her death, authorities said.
The 35-year-old woman who died Thursday evening was aware of the drop, police said Friday. Providence Place Mall security personnel told police they heard over a radio someone telling the woman to get away from the edge and that it was dangerous, said Providence police Maj. David Lapatin.

Detectives watched surveillance video of the leap, but they have no plans to release it, Lapatin said.Hmmm, that's too bad. Always nice to have new Darwin Awards videos.
She was of voting age, so I think it's safe to say we can scratch one R.I. Democrat from the rolls.

She was of voting age, so I think it's safe to say we can scratch one R.I. Democrat from the rolls. You are so sweetly naive. Dem voters never stop voting Dem. Death does not matter to their voting rolls.

This probably actually made it easier for this particular name to vote in every election. Some Dem GOTV operative now doesn't have to worry about her actually showing up and raising any suspicion. The dimwit is dead, but her votes will carry on for generations.

She shoulda’ just waited until the next riot and she could have had a lot of free pickens.
