More nonsense based on the very flawed Slice Intelligence report that the Apple Watch is "flopping". . . except that Slice does not have access to Apple's email receipts, uses only those people who have agreed to use their App (read self-selected participants), and is limited to only the US market which represents only 38% of the Apple Watch revenue, if they even have any usable data. Other much more qualified analysts have debunked Slice data and in fact have shown that it does not show what they are claiming at all, but that doesn't stop the FUD spreaders from using it. . . like this article in the FAST Company to claim failure.

Incidentally, in less than three weeks, Apple will be announcing the results of the 2nd Quarter "Apple's 3rd Fiscal Qtr" Financial results. That means it is Apple FUD Season. . . the Three Week time period before Apple events or announcements when all the negative articles about Apple are pulled out and published. This is one. — PING!

Just yesterday I saw two articles saying the ‘Flopping’ theory is untrue, that in reality, Apple is cleaning up financially and attracting lots of young customers who will be brand loyal for a long, long time. Not that I have a dog (or watch) in this fight anyway.

Years ago we watched this happen with hand- held calculators. I had one of the first, a Bomar. It was a heavy brick with tiny LED numbers. (I was public ally embarrassed at a meeting for having it..was told from a podium that some people can’t even add or subtract any more). Then the numbers got bigger and the cases smaller, and smaller, and smaller. Finally the process ended up with the push button calculator watch...which didn’t sell. Sometimes items have a “best size.” Apple watch went past the physical limit. History repeats.
