White privilege? Where's mine? 20 years in the military seeing minorities promoted over me because of affirmative action, colleges accepting less qualified, and losing jobs to less qualified due to their race. Exactly where is my share of white privilege?
They told me there were no "quotas" but the percentages of minorities were reported to congress and carefully massaged through hiring and promotion. Many incompetent people ended up in senior positions.

White privilege means if a street savage kills you you get media coverage for one day, and that if you say “n word” you get media coverage for two months.
White privilege may be as simple as intelligence, work ethic...etc. All those things which make one a valuable member of society.
My experience working and supervising for 30+ years around all races of people is that blacks are far more lazy, dishonest, irresponsible and incompetent than their white counterparts in the same positions. Of course by no means does this mean ALL of them but it is a substantial amount. Sorry if anyone can’t handle the truth of this and want to say it’s racist to even mention such things.
This to me has always explained why employers hesitate to hire a black person over a white person for the same job. It’s also why liberals support affirmative action hiring.
Been going on for well over 35 years. The only people in race relations in the military were black. Not one white and it really opened my eyes way back then.

I’ve been promoted over about a dozen times by “minorities” (almost all of which were fired shortly there after for incompetence). Everybody knows diversity and policies like it promote for racist reasons and not real skills or knowledge.
Hell...the damn fedgov considers me a “minority” by my background as a Hispanic, but I refuse to be corralled by the idiot demographers sitting in a cube collecting a fat check from the taxpayers.
I look forward to the day when Christ Reigns Supreme with an Iron Fist and tosses morons with this WP and “diversity” train of thinking aside like the racist gnats they are.

Great line; pretending “preferred minorities” are equal when the government itself won’t treat them as such does them no favors. If you have a black guy that makes a great lieutenant, let him be a great lieutenant instead of a woeful captain. “Social promotion” always leaves the intended beneficiary with a bigger bank account but a lot less competence/knowledge.
In 1975 I had a guy at a executive search firm tell me flat out that if I were a woman, better yet a Black woman or the trifecta a Black woman in a wheelchair he could get me interviews with any Fortune 500 company I desired. But sadly I was a white guy and then all of those they could use. He said he would see what he could do. Never heard back from him. That’s my white privilege story.
A relative who works for Chase just told me his boss said “It’s difficult to get a promotion here if you are a white male”

If my country wants to keep pushing this myth, I just may decide to do my part to fight “white privilege” by buying my next car from a non-white (Asian) car maker instead of a car maker that employs white Americans.
There are consequences for generations of handouts...
For example a large local police department had a job fair in Ferguson to “create a police department more reflective of the community.”
Almost 180 applicants tested out. By the end of the day, only one from the affected demographic based the background and later washed out in the second phase of screening.
Zero success rate. It’s so bad that some mayors have even floated the idea of letting convicted felons become police officers...
If one needs to see just how dysfunctional things can get with handouts, setasides, quotas, etc, just look at the POST office.
