Two polls released yesterday form CNN/ORC and Quinnipiac University show that Donald Ttrump is currently one of the leading candidates to win the Republican Party presidential nomination. The CNN/ORC poll, released yesterday, shows Trump trailing only former Gov. Jeb Bush nationally. The Quinnipiac University poll, also released yesterday, shows Trump trailing only Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) in the key state of Iowa. The following is a breakdown of both polls, and some analysis on what each means. For further polling updates up to and through the 2016 presidential election follow me on Twitter or Facebook.

The gay roster in the Miss Universe pageant isn’t going to help his cause with conservatives. Trump is the final word on the pageant.

I’d like to see Trump take down Jeb, sooner rather than later.

So, I think Jeb better watch what he says about Trump.

IMHO, Hillary would LOVE to run against ANOTHER Republican who “earned” his millions of dollars from Wall Street. Like Jeb.

Hmmm...

HINT: It MAY be hard to attack Hillary for “Pay-to-Play” graft — if you’re doing the same thing yourself...

The elite will fight real dirty when they perceive a serious threat. They just keep doing all of this unconstitutional stuff and it's only serving to make Trump more popular. How many of the 13 (or so) dwarfs have come out in favor of the invasion of the US and denying freedom of speech about the issue?

It might be that Trump, Cruz and Rand Paul are the only ones smart enough to be left standing with fed up Republicans.

If you are willing to trust a Trump over a Cruz, then you have issues and probably shouldn’t be voting in such a serious election.

*******************

A lot of people may have issues but will still be voting in the elections.
Until there are rules and guidelines adopted to specify what issues a
person can or can't possess and vote then we have to work within the rules.
Do you have a set of issue guidelines to share with us?

Cruz is still my pick. But if The Donald turns out to be the candidate, I’ll vote for him in a heartbeat!

Same here. I am sick of the politicians.

So who the hell died and made you king? Cruz would make an acceptable VP for a President Trump, but has done nothing, has accomplished nothing to indicate that he should be trusted with the US Military.

Disagree? Fine list Cruz's accomplishments, not his fancy speeches, but his actions his accomplishments.

I never seen a POTUS candidate in my life that has been trashed as much as this guy has been right out of the starting gate. The Treasonists are freakin’ terrified of this guy.

You are 100% right, the Treasonists are terrified of him as is the true democrats called the GOP.

Trump is an offensive tackle, Cruz is a QB.

You have it backwards. Trump is the decision maker, the accomplisher, Cruz is a cheerleader, a pretty face with a loud mouth, but no real accomplishments.

The LAST thing we need is a bunch of infighting. I believe the most conservative candidate must be elected to go on to the general election.

This nation has drifted so far to the left, It will take a staunch constitutional conservative to just bring this nation back to CENTER.

We all know who the big gubbamint republicans are.

That said, I have my short list. Then I have my...hell no list.

If you ain't conservative, you ain't runnin in my book.

Macy’s needs to feel some backlash for this decision. It can’t always be conservatives losing out because they say or do something unpopular. In this world perception is key and for an outcry to appear to be happening because someone is trying to silence Trump is important. Going against Trump’s freedom of speech by trying to make him poor should carry server consequences. This is what the left has turned the country into but if the other side doesn’t adapt you may never hear people openly confront leftism again. There aren’t many who do now but Trump is one of them for now so use this time to support his right to speak up (even if ultimately you don’t want to support his candidacy)

"Look Trump and Cruz, need to stick together"

If you look at the CNN/ORC poll(follow your article), Trump's poll numbers rose because Cruz's poll numbers fell. Walker's and Rubio's numbers also fell.

Why do you keep on flacking for Cruz? If you have a problem with a poster promoting a candidate not of your choosing, then man up and complain to the owner.

Trump won't last. He's a reality show playing politics. Either way, sooner or later he has to lay down policy and that will tell if he gets renewed for 2016. Cruz is running at pace, his fundraising is exceeded anticipated levels and he is unbeatable in a debate.

My money is on Cruz, but I've got lots of popcorn ready for Trump.

Cruz is too young and frankly not catching fire. Donald would be smart to pick him as his VP right out of the gate. It would help balance the Donald out for sure and set Cruz up for the future.
