Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR's most popular driver, called the Confederate flag "offensive to an entire race" Friday while voicing his support for it being removed from the grounds of the South Carolina Statehouse.

I’ve been saying that if Nascar intends to enforce this, Talladega should certainly be very “Interesting”.

Why.....I’ll bring a SRT 392 Challenger... Someone else can bring a a Shelby Mustang GT 500 or an LT 1 Camaro.

There are larger size cars made by the big 3 that have the big engines if you feel pony sized cars are not in the right size class.

NASCAR is fake cars with decal headlights and trim all built on the same frames and same power level engines. I’d rather watch the old winged warriors. Or perhaps a 67 satellite driven by sir Richard. I got to root for my car.....not a crude photo copy of a lame 4 door grocery getter.

what is a person to do?

Well, you could take up a different venue, like open wheel and dirt.

The Rolex GT classes look pretty good, like Grand Am cars and then some. ISMA TUDOR series, ISMA Supermodifieds (whoa)

OK nutscar, THIS MEANS WAR!!! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!!! IT'S A PIECE OF CLOTH!!!
Daytona to offer Confederate flag exchange: Daytona International Speedway will implement a voluntary flag exchange program this weekend for any fans flying a Confederate flag during the track's traditional Independence Day race weekend. DIS President Joie Chitwood said Tuesday that because fans had purchased tickets, he would not change the flag policy for this weekend so close to the event. He said the track will offer United States flags in exchange for Confederate flags. "We want to be inclusive to everyone, and the last thing you want is for anyone to come to a sporting event and really not enjoy that experience because of symbols that really represent things we're not proud of," Chitwood told reporters after a news conference to announce a new track sponsor. "For us, we're celebrating the American flag this weekend. It's our nation's birthday. ... Going forward, we'll really have to look at where that other flag goes because it doesn't have a place in our sport and we've got to take a thoughtful process on how we get to that place."(ESPN)(6-30-2015)

I'LL BET THE US FLAGS THEY GIVE OUT ARE FR!^&G MADE IN china!!!

And under their own being sold and shipped from Africa to create the Slave Trade.

But let Us NOT have FACTS get in the way...

I called daytona yesterday and let them have it about this Flag deal. The guy I talked to didn’t even give a rats A$$.

I told him pass it up the food chain to chimpwood and brainless.

I doubt it will make it.

Industry asks fans to refrain from displaying Confederate flag: Statement from NASCAR Industry Members: "As members of the NASCAR industry, we join NASCAR in the desire to make our events among the most fan-friendly, welcoming environments in all of sports and entertainment. To do that, we are asking our fans and partners to join us in a renewed effort to create an all-inclusive, even more welcoming atmosphere for all who attend our events. This will include the request to refrain from displaying the Confederate Flag at our facilities and NASCAR events. We are committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere free of offensive symbols. This is an opportunity for NASCAR Nation to demonstrate its sense of mutual respect and acceptance for all who attend our events while collectively sharing the tremendous experience of NASCAR racing."(NASCAR with signatories of ALL race tracks of ISC & SMI and many others)(7-2-2015)

Just got a call from Bristol Motor Speedway Ticket Sales.

Told the guy nutscar will never get another penny out of Me and why.

He tried to defend the BMS Track.

I said 29 of 30 tracks are on board with this stupidity and when I have time and find the list of tracks they will ALL be getting an E-Mail.

I’m getting a New American Flag today that is from Turner Hardware here in Mooresville AND IT IS MADE IN AMERICA since 1887.

I will fly it UPSIDE DOWN as a distress signal because of what has happened to this ONCE GREAT COUNTRY.

Also informed the BMS ticket guy of that...

Also told him probably not going to watch the race and will watch F1 instead.

Also mentioned I’m most likely not the on nutscar Fan that feels this way.

BTW if anyone wants to buy a Confederate Flag I know a place in Arkansas that sells them. They are currently out of stock but will do backorders.

The Lady that owns it was at the naacp rally in Little Rock the other day and My Brother told Me that after all the Race Card Haters got done at the podium She got up and spoke defending the Confederate Flag and explaining that this whole deal is BS and Why.

To me, a West Coast guy, the controversy with the confederate flag isn’t as big a deal as it obviously is to others because of geographic reasons. The bottom line here, and it’s been extremely obvious for some time, is that NASCAR has made numerous decisions in the last few years that have alienated their fan base be it the flag, ethanol, the car of tomorrow, the son of the car of tomorrow, (the bride of the car of tomorrow?) reducing HP for crying out loud, and new rules, more rules and rules about rules. NASCAR leadership is non existent. I’ll still record a race to watch from time to time but we’ve cancelled our dream trip we had planned for 2017 of following NASCAR from venue to venue in our motor home.

I never was into NASCAR and never have really watched a race.
I do believe though that they have done a number of things to alienate their Fan Base. The Flag controversy is just the latest.

Personally I grew on movies like “Grand Prix” and “Le Mans”, and while I am not a big fan and I find that racing of a little more interest.

I live here in Little Rock and here is what happened.
The Local NAACP President went down to her place of business, got his portable podium out of his car and started talking as to why she needed to stop manufacturing the Flag.

Now the building this place is in was an abandoned three story place in a part of town that was once predominately black and the building itself was historical. She went in there about 40 years ago and restored the place and put in flag manufacturing business. Now the top floor of this building used to be a dance and music venue and people like Duke Ellington and Louie Armstrong, among others played there back in the 1930's and 1940's. The guy from NAACP tried to shame her and then claim she should give back, etc., etc. Well then she got and started speaking talking about how she restored the building and created jobs, and while she was talking the NAACP guy and his minions left without even giving her the courtesy of listening to her. So you can see the Hypocrisy and such. Just a bunch of Jackass'!!!

I just read an article that NASCAR won’t have their season ending awards ceremony at Donald Trumps hotel in Miami and will now go elsewhere. The Camping Worlds CEO has his pan-a-tees in a wad (title sponsor of the truck series) and wrote NASCAR a letter saying dump Trump because of Trumps recent controversial statements.
