Elections have consequences - we were warned
June 26, 2015 | Self

This is exactly why, when conservatives sit on the sideline awaiting the 100% pure candidate, we damage ourselves. Election have consequences and this is one - the ability to select Supreme Court Justices who will sit for life. Look at the ages of Obama's picks - 55 and 61. They are not going anywhere for years.

Abortion, gay marriage, assaults upon Christianity... and we dare to sing God Bless America. Why would he bless us when we spit in his eye.

Tough decisions are always a challenge for me....

Do I vote for Romneycare, or Obamacare ?

Or do I NOT vote for POTUS, because both are inherently EVIL?

As I said, always a challenge.

Why vote for a conservative, when you can vote for the “lesser evil? “

I just don’t understand epopel!

RNC response to todays ruling:

In a message released immediately after the ruling, Reince Priebus mildly criticized the ruling while acknowledging its ”finality;” struck a magnanimous note, confirming that the GOP “[respects] those on the winning side of the case” and remains “committed to finding common ground”.

And that's saying a mouthful...

If you believe that than everything Diana West and Stanton Evans wrote is a Big Fat Lie.

Nothing happens by accident and THAT was stated by FDR

Hmmmmm-—and the guy doing the autopsy “died” also “suddenly”——give me a break.

“Four of the worst Justices in last 35 years were appointed by Reagan, Bush, and Bush 43.

Kennedy
OConner
Souiter
Roberts”

...and if you think they are bad, who do you see Hillary putting on the bench (God forbid)

"Elections have consequences - we were warned"

Are you a Democrat? Republicans won both houses in the congressional election and have done exactly what important constituents wanted them to do. Republicans also won several victories over the last several decades by appointing Supreme Court judges from the effete social left.

NEVER vote for another Bush

You should get a used copy on Amazon of "Family of Secrets" by Russ Baker (of whowhatwhy.com). He starts with Prescott and goes through the life of each Bush family member. This family has done so much damage to the United States that it will never recover. They are (a recent) addition to the Oligarchs that are taking us down and replacing America with a New World Order.

It covers everything from Prescott's attempted coup against FDR (the Business Plot) to interviews with some of W's girlfriends and even HW's involvement in the JFK assassination. Lots of interesting stuff.

I thought I was, but his wife’s affiliation with Goldman Sachs + the H1Bs, the TPP thing is just too much of a red flag for me. It’s not the specific things, it’s what it means that a person could do such things. I expect more because he is so smart & so talented.

I’m not really a social conservative as my #1 priority. So far, they’re just too liberal in other crucial ways. I guess I’m really a paleocon at heart. (I’d still vote for Chuck Baldwin or Pat Buchanan if I had it to do over.)

She did? I never really noticed. I was always enraptured by her rendition of Hamlet. On the hood of Coverdale’s Jaguar... Actually it may have been King lear. I’m bad with the classics.

Amen and amen.

So the question is are the my-way-or-the-highway purists who sat home and pouted in 2008 and 2012 going to further our downfall by doing the same thing next year?

There ya go.

At one time you’d have people here calling for your removal. And the audience of fools eagerly applaud your departure.

You must be one of them “Purist”.

“Kennedy

Roberts”

You know, that really makes you think about how conservative they really were. I’m pretty confident that 99% of Freepers here would make DARN DARN DARN sure that their SCOTUS appointment was a solid conservative if they were President.

These guys got snookered 4 times? Unlikely.

Aside from Cruz or Walker any other Republican is going to get you a crap shoot for Supreme Kangaroo Court justice. You might get Alito you might get Roberts.

This SC bogey man argument will be trotted out by the Republican Party Pukes as a reason to vote for their miserable asses in 2016. If the Republicans nominate another liberal you will lose as I am done with that BS. And elections do have consequences, they keep asking conservatives to vote for liberals and it’s not working, they need to get a clue.

As for the Republican congress being vital, really do they really want to go with that line of stupidity to conservatives again after their wretched behavior since November 2014? The Republican congress is a joke just like the rest of this banana republic gay junta of a government.
