Elections have consequences - we were warned
June 26, 2015 | Self

This is exactly why, when conservatives sit on the sideline awaiting the 100% pure candidate, we damage ourselves. Election have consequences and this is one - the ability to select Supreme Court Justices who will sit for life. Look at the ages of Obama's picks - 55 and 61. They are not going anywhere for years.

Abortion, gay marriage, assaults upon Christianity... and we dare to sing God Bless America. Why would he bless us when we spit in his eye.

So true but in time the truth comes out as wisdom cannot be faked or hidden for long.

Yup. I also find it odd that this guy just appears out of nowhere with a convenient backstory. Maybe he isn’t a GOP plant. Maybe he’s real. But he’s still using the script from 12.

Those are the only two choices. Other action is pretending, copping out.

High and mighty won’t cut it......... there will be but two choices when time to vote for a President

Yes or no Bert. Are there and were there more than two choices printed on every presidential ballot in America.

Yes or no.

You know, honestly, I’m getting to the point I don’t know if I can ever trust anyone enough to vote R again. Between the illegal invasion, 0bamacare, TPP, throwing the South (their strongest constituency!) to the communists, the jobs situation/ H1Bs, on & on…Ugh.
These people are shameless liars.

Well thats an opinion. Not a fact Bert. And it is an opinion the founders were very opposed to and if you ever spent the barest time in an American history book, you’d know that.

Now if you FEEL as so most liberals, that you know better than the founders how we should vote, then by all means say so. Just say they made a mistake designing our system and be done with it. Because you cannot have it both ways.

The Democrats aren’t pretending. But, it’s becoming very evident the Republicans are.

I pulled the lever for both McCain and Romney as the lesser evil. I have no illusion either would have prevented this week of disasters. There are no pure candidates this time. Every one of them has at least one issue. Some, however, are acceptable candidates. You can tell those as they will be the ones the GOP insures are not there at the end of the process.

Well said. The same applies to me and I agree with your conclusion.

That would make for a very busy and very bloody month.

My thoughts exactly. For instance, how would he get rid of the liberal SCOTUS justices?

I’d hate to be his client if he’s a lawyer. I mean a hack ex journo is running rings around his arguments ;)

"They would not have Pushed for more perversions. They might believe all that crap but being weak in nature, they would not fight for it."

That's just it...they're weak in nature. They might not have the guts to push it, but they would have done absolutely nothing to stop it.

The Supremes should have term limits.

No. Rather, the Congress should uphold the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies.

And the citizens should hold their elected representatives accountable to that oath.

"....and your error is assuming they would have ever dreamed of proposing even a tenth of this madness that Obama has unleashed on America."

Like I just posted, they wouldn't have done a thing to stop it.

You hear any of our Republican "leadership" even offer an opinion about this? All I heard was crickets.

Man did it. I loved him as an actor. Top Secret to Batman. But yea, he went to hell.

Then again I have to type “The 1987 version” every time I mention Tawney Kitaen so he’s not alone ;)

I’m still sticking with Ted Cruz. He isn’t perfect, naturally, but he’s a solid conservative.
