Victory in 2016. The left may well regret this week (vanity)

I think there is a distinct possibility that these two disastrous rulings by the USSC may have finally woken up the sleeping Silent Majority.

The libs are dancing in the streets now but in Nov. 2016, they may be regret getting what they wished for.

The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage.

I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts.

Maybe I'm being optimistic. But I don't think so.

Even just a year ago I would have called what you said here a bunch of conspiracy theory craziness.

Now, eh, not so much. The homosexual agenda has increased speed exponentially, nothing is really too crazy to believe anymore. Nothing.

The “homosexual agenda” is just the excuse for the real agenda - the Satanic one.

Can you think of any good legislation that came out of the 2004 congress and president? Anything that made us more free? I remember the Surge which turned out to be a waste of lives and money since Iraq will be divided between Iran and ISIS. There was attempted amnesty. Had Bush and the Republicans not floated that out there it probably wouldn’t be happening now.

I agree with you on that. We have a problem with the Republican Party and the problem is the Republican Party. Until we defeat the RINOs nothing good will happen - even if the GOP owns the house, senate, executive, and USSC. Give me a 3rd party to vote for if we can’t beat the RINOs in the primary.

FAT CHANCE! Why? Because the candidates chosen to run wont be PERFECT, keeping so many “Principled” conservatives home.

The long term trend is not good. Millennials have grown up with the collectivist, truth is relative, nonsense from birth. They have never seen a rapidly expanding economy where opportunities abound. Instead they've grown up in an environment where the baseline in decision making and money management is the government.

These kids today don't even know what it feels like when you fall off of a bike and skin your knee, their whole lives has been spent in a protected bubble. They don't have a clue what reality is.

People who believe Scripture is the inspired word of God are a minority and following this ruling it won't be long before the tax exempt status of churches that refuse to marry homosexuals will be denied. I'm sure that when the left finds that God fearing Christians still refuse to comply the trials for "hate crimes" and forced "re-education" will begin.

And don't forget that Nero didn't have anywhere near the amount of power that the American government has. They don't need to listen to phone calls or read emails, algorithmic databases exist that can show with almost pinpoint accuracy who believes what.

I've witnessed and participated in the vicious Catholic v. Protestant debates here on FR over the past decade, but I can assure you that, as of today, we have no choice but to ally with each other in the face of Satan. From a purely financial perspective, only the Southern Baptist Convention and Catholic Church have the resources that will be required to fight this and they can only win if they are united. I've said this before and it's still true: if the Catholic Church is defeated on this, small evangelical denominations don't have a chance.

I know the fiscal conservatives could care less, but what they fail to see is the social issues have driven financial issues. When we started aborting babies our birth rates began to decline. As this happened a magnet for illegal foreign labor was created. Now we have 30 million illegals here who don't want to assimilate, but would rather have a socialist govt take from the productive and give to them.

You're leaving something critical out. Social Security and Medicare are Ponzi schemes that can only work if there is stable and predictable population growth. The Baby Boom was unexpected, but would have been fine if it wasn't followed by the Sexual Revolution and abortion. Everyone in Washington is working to "legalize" criminal aliens, but none of them will admit the reason: we don't just need the labor (we already have that), what we really need is tens of millions more people paying payroll taxes.

And look at the deficit. Seventy years ago our Republic was just finishing World War II, this was the single most expensive undertaking by any nation in history, a few years later we would announce the Marshall Plan and give away billions more, but NOBODY was worried about whether we could afford it. Even during the debates over FDR's New Deal in the 1930s affordability wasn't a factor. The reason is because we had an expanding population of taxpayers and consumers, today that's no longer the case.

America's only remaining hope is that the Almighty will bless those patriots who still remain.

Nope. We can blame W Bush for much of that. Came out of the gate trying to change Social Security. Utterly fruitless waste of political capital and a lost opportunity.

W did cut taxes, but that was in an earlier session of Congress.

“The Republicans should not try to tweak it or do away with the unpopular stuff.”

They don’t have to now. However, every time 0care makes another crap sandwich and Obama makes another decree or exemption, the GOP will be right there to fully fund it. Will the GOP apologists change there tone or will they keep blaming the mythical “stay-homers?”

Correct, we must abandon the GOP the same way the abolitionists abandoned the Whigs when they formed the GOP.

It is not gone at all. Have they dictated a certain % of children be Sodomites yet? Are they profiling kids for grooming camps? That’s down the road though. Next up is churches losing 501c for denying Sodomites to marry. That will lead to a few pastors being in jail for tax evasion. That will happen within the year. Grooming camps are 10 years out at the most. “That will never happen. The people will rise up.” It will happen. I wonder if the people will rise up.

As long as there are still armed patriots, we’re not done.

You’re right if the only tools we have are elections and court cases. There are a lot of Americans with a lot of guns.

Nothing wrong or incorrect with anything you stated, but your last sentence is the answer.

Thanks for the ping.

My course of action is to buy ammo, withhold my votes from the Republicans, go about my life, and look for the leader who isn’t suffering normalcy bias. Eventually things will get rolling on their own.

I don’t mean to be judgmental, but if we’re going to hang crepe & lament (instead of standing up like men & women & kicking the sh*t out of them), I wish this forum could be taken private. It bugs me that the left is able to gloat over this. Plus, it fuels their fire when we should be starving it.

just sayin’...

Read your history. Look at the German Attitudes toward Jews and the timeline of events. It actually does have a lot in common with that time period.

No, not 1939 or 1944, but we’re not there. Yet...

While that may turn out to be the case, I think the left thinks that they have won. They have the momentum, and own much of the federal machine.

My guess is you couldn’t find 51 R’s who would vote to repeal it under any president.
