You need more money for an iPhone on average so all the other aspects Flo naturally from that

A high end Samsung, HTC, LG, or other Android smart phone on a two year contract will cost you $150-$300. An Apple iPhone 6plus will cost you $200 - $299 to initiate a two year contract. Buying an unlocked top of the line model at the MSRP for any of those Android smartphones would run you between $550 and $750, while buying an unlocked Apple iPhone 6 or 6plus would cost you $599 to $699. The service costs for each smartphone is the same on every carrier.

Exactly where is the additional cost for buying and using an iPhone? For all extents and purposes if there is a cost differential, it is in pennies only per month.

You can also get Android and iPhones for lower initiation costs including FREE. . . by accepting lower quality Android and older or lesser model iPhones such as the iPhone 5C.

A high-end Android yes. But at the lower end the market is dominated by Android handsets.
