Crime in America

Well, here we go, one more time. Someone is murdered and the usual suspects get dusted off and taken from the closet to be regurgitated back and forth making sound but accomplishing nothing. Of course the first thing is always gun control, but this time race was the watchword singled out because everyone knows gun control won’t get to first base with Congress. No one mentions the black on black crime that is murdering more people than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

The Second Amendment is a well established part of our Constitution from the very beginning of the country. Even northern liberals are starting to understand people pull triggers and there is almost never a time a trigger falls by mechanical error. As the murders rise, they understand getting a gun for themselves might be the only answer for a country that is spinning out of control.

Of course race is front and center in the Charleston shooting. How could it be any different if the perpetrator even told us so? Now we have removed some flags that seem to make some crazy enough to murder people. If you can’t remove guns, at least remove the murder causing flag. Calls are made to investigate “Hate Groups”. One has to wonder if that includes The Tea Party, churches, civic organizations, and even the Masonic Lodge, as Masons founded the country and some owned slaves so there must be something there to attack.

We have lost our freedom of speech. We can’t say many things that were commonplace in the past and we have trigger warnings, not for guns, but for Ann Coulter showing up to speak somewhere. Of course her freedoms depend on if she can dodge pies and how many security guards she has with her on stage. We can’t draw a cartoon of Mohammed without risking our necks. Certain people are threatened daily with death just for continued breathing. One group gets to use the “N” word while the other is threatened with death or prison and at the very least the loss of your job.

Now we have homosexual Nazi’s that won’t allow a Christian to refuse to support open sin. People have already lost money, jobs, and recently their whole business, because of their personally held beliefs. Of course we have lost the right to privacy with the NSA, but we can kill babies to protect privacy. As we start to back away and look at where we are and where we are going from a distance, it becomes clearer to me that there is some sort of scales on our eyes, removing common sense, and making things harder to see clearly.

I’m 64 now and can remember as a child, leaving my windows open and doors unlocked, leaving keys in the car ignition out in the open, playing outside till dark without a chaperone, having my own gun at 9 years old, joining the Boy Scouts without any worry of being attacked in my tent, everyone going to church on Sunday, praying in school and speaking about God in class, almost no crime, girls didn’t have many out of wedlock pregnancies, few divorces, and children that respected authority. Yes, there were separate drinking fountains and blacks had to sit in the movie balcony, but in the whole, life was pretty sweet compared to today. Many people smoked and I thought it was disgusting, but I was taught to respect the other person’s rights. People said objectionable things, but we said we would die for their right to say it. Jobs and energy were plentiful and everyone’s future seemed bright except for the Red threat. We all saluted the flag, said the pledge, and honored our vets.

If we are to look at today compared to yesterday morally, one can only see Sodom and Gomorrah has taken over and evil has taken the land. How did we get here? If we are going to speak about repealing the 2nd Amendment, ignoring the first Amendment, rewriting the 4th Amendment, and ignoring the 9th and 10th Amendment, why is it we can’t bring prayer back into school and use the Bible as a textbook? Even a devout atheist must see that things have changed for the worse and realize our collective belief in God and following His teaching gave us more freedom, lessened regulation, and made for a more civilized society. No one forced anyone to pray as Christians knew a forced prayer did nothing and no one could be forced to believe something they didn’t believe. The affirmative right for Christians to pray and study God’s word in public was a foundational principal since the beginning and was never designed to force anyone to do anything.

My point is, if we are degenerating in to a culture of narcissistic, lovers of money, proud blasphemers, disobedient, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, stubborn, proud lovers of pleasures and haters of God, why not stop taking our rights away and bring back the one that changes everything back to good. Does anyone believe the shooter in South Carolina had a clue about the demon screaming in his ear to commit murder? We will try gun laws, video game laws, mental health laws, hate speech laws, listening in to his Face Book posts and phone conversations, along with a myriad of other regulations just to keep God out of society.

We are LITERALLY at war in this country; we just haven’t identified the enemy. It’s taken a full generation to kill a decent God fearing society and fill it with demon filled, empty headed murderers that wouldn’t know right from wrong if it hit them in the head, and won’t turn overnight into a good, holy people, separated from the evil walking to and fro in the land, but it’s a start in the right direction.

The politicians have lost the initiative to speak the truth because they won’t get voted into office. The others are as dense as the church shooter. The only hope now is for Christians to repent and vote. Christians must repent for allowing this to happen. They must repent for not voting, and most of all, voting for God hating, baby killing, sodomite loving, and America haters. This couldn’t have happened without the American church voting for it for 60 years.

Our founders knew that freedom would never last without a God fearing society. We were warned to “prefer” Christian lawmakers. What we have lost today is the common knowledge today that our nation was blessed because we were a Christian nation. I hear the arguments that so and so will raise my welfare, or so and so will raise my Social Security so I voted for him. Is a few bucks worth selling your birthright for a bowl of stew? People are literally dying for our unwise choices. We have lost and are continually losing our rights for a false safety that never comes. I say in total confidence that if we vote for the best Christian we can find, all the other things will fall into place and our country will prosper due to the blessings of God showered down on the whole country. It rains on the just and the unjust if your country is blessed by God.

This thought could continue for much longer as we see that we have turned our back on Israel, practice murder and theft in video games, allow pornography even to children in libraries, and the list goes on forever. We cannot pass enough laws to fix a lost person. They will always end up with a life of bondage and even death, but will we allow them to take the country, along with your children with them? The laws needed to regulate evil will enslave the rest of us and make America a 3rd world hell pit. If we believe that doing away with the Confederate battle flag, or regulating guns a little more is some sort of tribute to the people lost in the South Carolina church, we have lost any connection to reality. A short reminder of Baltimore riots, Ferguson Mo., Newtown Conn. Littleton Co., and any number of other tragedies, reminds us that really nothing constructive is happening or has happened. We need better people, not more laws. Only a good person would help stop a shooter, stop a robber, stop a rapist, and even volunteer to help the country. People that rob today could have been saved years ago had they had instruction of what God expected of them in life. People that murder can be stopped if they were taught that hate in their heart was destroying THEM, not the people they hate. Having a generation of criminals is no accident. It took much work by weak Christians working with the devil to get where we are today.

Why should nine people on a Supreme Court overturn common sense and doom the whole of America to destruction and why are we are too timid to demand that schools teach the Will of God to our Children? Has it saved a bunch of money? Has it saved bloodshed? Why would a Christian send their child to a place where God is not welcome? There has come a time that we won’t receive sound doctrine. Our lips are close to Him but our heart is far from Him. Even the elect has fallen for the lies of Satan. As Solomon finished God’s temple, God appeared to Solomon and warned him to keep His statutes or He would uproot them from “HIS LAND” which He gave Solomon. The whole chapter of 2nd Chron 7 spells out what God expects from His people and what will happen if we don’t pass muster. We were clearly blessed for over 200 years and have fallen for over 50 years. When exactly did we throw God from the public domain? Has it been a good thing? Are things better today? Has murdering 55 million babies made things better? Will allowing gay marriage fix some sort of long suffering great constituency and make America better protecting altar boys and the Boy Scouts from themselves? Not if it’s against Gods Will for our Country it won’t. It’s easy enough to turn out 50, 500, or 5,000 more murderers to do what Satan wants as God’s hedge is removed.

How simple it would be to just go back to the time when God was allowed in society and believers were the rule and not the exception. A good start would be to bring prayer and Bible study back to the children we want to teach to be good citizens. It’s cheaper and easier than regulating guns and banning flags. If we would elect a true Christian, America would heal and it would be visible. Everything else would be taken care of by the Keeper of the Universe. The only other option is to keep raising killers, rapists, and thieves, and periodically dust off more gun control and banning language and flags.

Black on Black crime does not help promote the agenda: demonizing Whites so they can be disenfranchized.

We’ve witnessed several “tipping points” in America in the last several years and I think the latest is media influence. Sure, the media have been directing public opinion from the beginning but this flag episode is the biggest yet. A couple more gun crimes carried out by crazed drug abusers and this media will convince the majority of “Americans” that guns have no place and must be taken away. Laugh.

“...everyone knows gun control won’t get to first base with Congress.”

I would not be so quick to make that statement. While we the constitutional conservatives probably constitute a greater percentage of the population than any of us know, we do not constitute even 10 percent of Congress. The Republicans/so-called conservatives in Congress and the Supreme Court have let us down on virtually every single issue since Obama was elected. I’m 59 and I think back 35-40 years on other such claims and remember that I thought at the time “That’ll never happen!”. Well, it (they) has (have) happened in almost every single case.

I’m not sure exactly what you are saying. Do you not think black on black crime would be helped by black exposure to the Word of God? A look at the reaction of the victims families to this horrendous calamity should be clearly show the difference between the Black Panthers reaction and a true Christian reaction. We need more people with the heart of the S. Carolina church families and less of the blood thirsty murderers like we have seen so much in the news in Baltimore. I, for one see no difference in a black Christian and a white Christian, as long as they follow the Jesus of the Bible. Rev Wright’s church not being one of them.

You and ryan71 are right that at some point it may happen and cause some "tipping point" for America. I have heard many arguments back to before Buba Clinton that we would take up arms to defend our country, only to watch the event come and go without so much as a peep. We all have,( except for the ones that lost them in a tragic boating accident), our weapons and ammo, gathering dust in a closet and threaten to dust them off several time a decade over some perceived fatal encroachment on our rights. I think most of us are waiting for someone to take the initiative to form a group, besides the produce manager down at Krogers. The Tea Party was such a group that was going to band together and make things happen, but they have folded with the slightest resistance from the establishment.

The whole point of my post was trying to get people to remember when things were better, much better. How tough could it be to re introduce prayer back in school? Certainly easier than banning guns. The saying "There are no atheists in a foxhole" comes from someone scared that their end is getting near. Are we not there yet? Does anyone really think things will just keep going on without some punishment from God? Over and over in the Bible the Jews would stray and they would end up defeated and destroyed, and slaves.

Take a moment to read Leviticus 18:22 to the end of the chapter and tell be it doesn't concern you that the land is defiled and the LAND will vomit out it's inhabitants. That's you and your children and grand children, even if none of you had anything to do with the Gay marriage vote. IMO, the whole reason Sodom and Gomorrah was written about was a warning of what was to come. Why would a Christian believe God changed His mind about sodomy? The crime, murder, rape, theft and violence is bad, but the country hasn't been destroyed yet, but I can promise you, it's coming. China could do it, Russia could do it, ISIS could do it, $18 trillion could do it, Even Mexico could do it if God leaves us and declares "Ichabod".

As a Christian, I know that God win's our battles. Just look at WWII. We should have lost, but we won victory. Then look at Korea and Viet Nam. In Nam, we won every battle, yet lost the war. Was God pleased with Woodstock? Sex, drugs and rock and roll? Was it the birth control pill that would allow fornication and no abortions? We have come to believe our bravery and superior weapons will save us. 3000 died in 2001 with a few men armed with box cutters. Sept 2008, the largest loss of money in history was because we won't repent. 7 years later, God is still waiting for us to repent. Sept 2015 is coming and all we have to show for another 7 years is gay marriage will be legal. We are walking a tightrope, blindfolded, and shaking our fist at God yelling "What are you going to do about it now!!!"

If we are not on God's side, He is not on ours and we will discover just how much we need Him.
