The weariness, the rage, the depressing conviction that black life is stuck in a murderous loop fueled by racismthese emotions resounded in black America after the deadly shootings at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
Nine people who had gathered to pray in one of the main sanctuaries of black lifethe churchwere slain.
This, following a string of black men killed after coming into contact with police officers in cities across America and racist actions on campuses. Even though African-Americans are long accustomed to dealing with difficulty where their race is concerned, the confluence of events appeared to be taking a toll.
We really are a people who are suffering from racial battle fatigue, political essayist and commentator Chauncey DeVega said Thursday.

and where is the Conservative message that leads them off this plantation and out of the quagmire?
Are blacks yet ready to really hear a new message, are they yet ready to stop the insanity that chains them, “in a murderous loop fueled by racism.”
Just look at the anger and rage of the ‘white community’ over this latest incident. Look at the white response to this creature called Dylan Roof. America on the whole ...we’re not racist, nor bigots, nor out to keep another man down. On the whole we want to lift others up, see success of our fellow man, and we will stand shoulder to shoulder with you for real justice. Not some half fabricated fake social justice...but real justice we’re all guaranteed.
I ain't seen roving bands of feral crackas roaming around.
Imagine how white people feel! They have been undef attack by blacks for years, and when they look to their white leaders for help, all they get is a kick in the teeth.

True. And yet... Who are the people who are profiting from this racial battle fatigue? Who is stirring it up?
Booker T. knows....
There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.
and...
I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.
Imagine how we feel after 100 years of being unjustly blamed for every little thing wrong with their lives. That’s fatigue.
Birmingham. Not Atlanta.
Their true battles are with the Democrats, Commies, the MSM, and each other in their communities.
I think you mean twice as many whites murdered by blacks, no?
Perhaps Rachel Dolezal is available to provide counselling.
I guess this will require burning down the ‘hood and looting drug stores.
I have black fatigue.
Good job on the correction. You had me concerned about you.
Irish
;)
The poor dears have the vapors having incited racial animosity?
Oh noes.
