Fiorina is 100% right.

Trump is saying the things which need to be said, and which NOBODY else dares speak one word about.

Unless other candidates start speaking up, Trump will walk away with this.

Not that I myself would mind that, I'm just saying.

He is right. Where is everyone else, on these very important topics?

Where is everyone else, on these important topics?

The DC crowd possibly force-feeding the trade deals through is HUGE with us folks in the real world. Any candidate in the HOR or US Senate is going to be stuck with their vote on it.

The others, except Trump, have held back on strongly condemning this insult to US citizens. It's a big mistake on their part, and gives Trump a huge opening.

Somehow I’m not getting that your post is anti-Trump.

(just saying)

Give it time. You’ll come around yet.

I always enjoy his frank talk on FNC. He tells it like it is and that’s refreshing.
Cautionary:
Donald Trump IS a Crony Capitalist. He makes deals and gets them done....but he does this by working with the worst possible human beings.

So BEWARE!

Agree. Unbelievable that so-called news organizations resort to tabloid journalism when they should be highlighting what DT is trying to get the country to face.

The GOPe is clearly unnerved by this. Or else they wouldn’t be dispatching their henchmen to every corner of the media spectrum. Those who care about their country are willing to get out of their comfort zone and face facts.

And one of those facts is many career GOP politicians are either incredible wimps or corrupt. Boehner, McCain, McConnell, Snowe,...the list is quite long. But I see precious little about their traitorous ways. The knives are certainly not out for them like they are for The Donald. Why?

Ms. Fiorina is correct. Maybe because she’s not afraid to deal with reality. Maybe Carly’s not afraid to tell it like it is either.

I see Trump as this election’s version of Ross Perot. A lot of bluster. But in the end he’ll fold like a $2 dollar chair. Trump talks a big game and in his world he is but unlike the current poser in the WH who has both parties scared, he isn’t going to be elected dictator. And that is what I recall from Perot’s campaign. He was just going to go to DC and straighten them out - like he was going to be elected king. My 2 cents for what it’s worth.

Carly’s right. Don’t for one minute underestimate Trump’s ability to thwart any attempt to keep Hillary and her agenda out of the White House.

Trump is (much) different than Ross Perot was, as a candidate.

Though their positions are similar. They are (/were for Perot) for American jobs, and they are standing up against the establishment. In that regards they are very similar. I am in support of you in this regards.

However there is one very big difference.

Trump isn’t running against any party. That is the very big difference this time. He is running for the GOP nomination.

Perot was right, but he was running against every established principal in American politics.

Trump is completely different in that regard. He is competing for the GOP nomination.

Big difference.

Don’t underestimate Trump. Correct. Maybe this would be a great opportunity for Fiorina to drop out, especially considering the blistering appraisal Trump gave of her failures.

Trump is a brilliant and powerful, flawed man.

So was Churchill.

Underestimate such a man at your own peril.

Given the current sad state of US politics, only a powerful, ruthless and flawed individual has a chance.

Whoever the GOP nominee is they will have to be suited to do battle against murderous, ruthless, lawless foes. They will have to pull out all the stops. Jeb can’t do that, only a powerful and flawed candidate has a chance.

This is the world we have created.

Let's not overestimate him either.

Why not?

He has virtually unlimited finances, he is (very) famous, hugely so, and he is saying what no other candidate in either party has the guys or principles, to say one single word about.

Illegal immigration. American jobs.

I say Trump is it, as things stand now. I am only wondering whether the other candidates will actually wake up and run in this race, in time to catch back up.

Trump IS hitting on key issues. Fiorina has been ahead of the curve every step of the way.

Good. Than let’s hear what she as to say. Carly has experience in the high-powered corporate world as well. That world is not for the faint of heart, believe me.

Let’s hear how her life and business experience can right this ship. If Ms. Fiorina is of the opinion we need to once again be the land of the free; the home of the brave, we all need to hear her. And sooner rather than later.

Well, don't kid yourself. Trump is raising important questions that many in the GOP don't want to talk about bug he has the EXACT same weakness as Perot, which is he speaks in broad generalities but in most cases (other than the fence) has no real POLICY solutions. For example ISIS: "I will find a general who will win." Really? It only took Abraham Lincoln four years to do that. But what does that mean? You have to define winning. Does that mean ground troops in the Middle East? Does it mean rebuild Iraq?

He will "negotiate tough with China." Great. Does that mean he would retaliate for the recent hack? How? Would he impose tariffs on Chinese goods? How about Chinese money?

The point is, a CONSERVATIVE has all these questions pretty much worked out in advance as Reagan did. Again, he is raising important issues. But so did Perot, except he didn't have solutions. Perot used to say "We need to get under the hood and fix it." But then he could never specifically tell you he'd do "under the hood." The reason people here on FR get so worked up---good and bad---over various candidates is that most HAVE spelled out what they would do "under the hood".

I don’t know if I would consider Trump a “Conservative “ so much as a business man who has some very conservative and some very liberal points of view. You probably won’t hear him talk negatively about abortion or gay marriage.
