Is Flirting Dead?
Vanity | 6/15/15 | Originalbuckeye

"My daughter's 14," he said. "My ... wife says to her, 'Well, you know, in the next couple years, I think maybe you're going to want to be hanging around the city more on the weekends so you can see boys.' You know what my daughter said? She says, 'That's sexist.'"-Seinfeld

Have young girls been manipulated into believing that paying attention to a boy is beneath them? Are girls being taught that they are superior to boys and, subsequently, will not be able to make good relationships that will result in marriage?

Boys are in a world of hurt and think they can pacify the 'feminist' approach to life. I don't think they can. Sexism is completely different from flirting, being friendly to someone you find attractive. I can see all sorts of dysfunction coming from this approach to relations between boys and girls. My generation was indoctrinated to believe a woman could do it all.......have children, have a high powered job, be a beauty queen and never break a sweat. Some women of my generation were belittled if they wanted to be homemakers and Mothers first. The break up of the traditional family is necessary if those who want a Socialist/Communist country are to succeed. Women CAN 'have it all' but some of those jobs will suffer from inattention. I am so sad that many young girls feel they not 'allowed' to enjoy the attention of a young boy. First 'love' is so sweet, but girls are being hardened to the happiness that previous generations have enjoyed. More's the pity. Please teach your young daughters that boy are nice, smart, good and are worth attention. Our existence depends on it.

Not among thirty-and-forty somethings looking to break their marriage vows.

Tell your sons of the horrors of divorce too. And, always look at the mother and grandmother to get an idea of how your cute little bride will age.

Maybe somewhat off topic, but there is a growing business of men going overseas to find women who were raised in more traditional cultures. Why would a man go overseas when his local bars are full of local women???

Feminist hyenas have been sputtering about the invidious “male gaze” - i.e., a man’s natural inclination to look at a woman - for many moons. Talk about science denial. In the estimation of your typical women’s studies professor (or one of the hundreds of shrikes she’s ‘mentored’ and turned loose on society during her tenure), human sexual nature is artificial, and demeaning to women. Many young people have either consciously or subconciously absorbed this fascist, anti-humanist nonsense, thus producing the idiotic remark from Seinfeld’s daughter. She’s been indoctrinated - programmed, really. In a few years, she’ll be accusing some poor SOB of rape eighteen months after they engaged in entirely consensual sex after a night of cocktails. Yes, boys ARE indeed in world of hurt. And it’s only going to get worse. The fundamental transformation is ratcheting into high gear.

And you wonder why female college students are bemoaning the fact they can’t seem to get a date—male college students, out of fear of a sexual harassment lawsuit, won’t go on dates anymore.

I'm afraid many ‘local women’ are of the assumption that they are better than the men they will meet. There is a constant effort to put ALL men down so as to elevate women. Most young women aren't ‘traditional’ anymore. I miss that. My generation, those who came of age in the 60’s-early 70's, have been the guinea pigs for Feminism. I look around at how many of my friends have divorced. Some for valid reasons, but most for superficial reasons. I hope we can get back to a more traditional approach to relationships. Our country needs it.

It is all part of the plan to destroy traditional US culture. It’s working.

Because those overseas women really value being wives and will treat their men really well. They are also less likely to seek divorce because the alternative is to go back home.

Even saying “good morning”, or even showing what used to be considered common courtesy ( holding the door open, even if her hands are full carrying stuff), is sexual harassment. After the 1997 disaster (psycho witch accused me of being a member of Aryan Nation), I view most women outside of IFB as adversarial.

Yes. But never mention the ‘female gaze’. It’s also real, but men enjoy when women look at them. Women are being taught it is ‘eye rape’ when a man looks at them longingly. (actually, I think that term came for the movie Wedding Crashers)I’m afraid the programming is suppressing the urge in women to be close to a man. I hope not, but it seems increasingly true.

Too many American women see guys as a source of financial support during and after marriage, while she keeps the kids and house.

I suspect it's worse than that. I think they're being taught that confining their sexual gratification to heterosexual experiences is discriminatory, and all forms of discrimination are bad.

I think they're also being taught that sexual activity is unrelated to personal relationships, and lifelong commitments are impractical and unattainable.
