Boxers don’t come in black. I’ll have to sit this one out.

But Boxers can come in brindle like mine ,,, Black dogs may be the subject here but brindle freaks people out ,, people associate that coloring with “pit bull”.

Well, let them freak! Brindle is an AKC recognized color for a Boxer and although my family always had the fawn coloration, I have seen many handsome brindle Boxers.

The brindle gene in Boxers and “Pits” comes from a common source.
