Trump is no fool and knows he has zero chance thus the question is who he will hurt in the primaries the most?

I have two words for you...Ross Perot

Yes, I'm very aware of Ross Perot. What's the lesson of his candidacy?

Twenty million Americans were willing to vote for a paranoid dwarf, running with a senile old man, because they were sick of being conned by the Uniparty.

I rather suspect those numbers are now considerably larger.

Some recipients of Trump’s cash over the years:

Charlie Crist
Arlen Specter
Charlie Rangel (Trump has spent the most on him)
Frank Lautenberg
Harry Reid
Chuck Schumer
John McCain
Mark Foley
Ted Kennedy
John Kerry
Joe Biden

http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2011/02/donald-trumps-donations-to-democrats/

The list is endless. If there ever were a person who correlated his values to cold hard cash, its Trump. And he gives around half his cash to Democrats...and most of the rest to RINOs.

Now why would a person give hundreds of thousands of dollars out, split almost evenly between the two major parties? Obviously because he is using government to ‘get things done’...and not in a good way.

Forget Trump.

You posted one snip and then a comment of yours as an excerpt.

How about following the posting rules?

I find it hysterical that anybody is upset about Trump criticizing the GOP candidates. The rest of us are trashing them worse than Trump ever does. Most of these so called conservative candidates and they know who they are are just a bunch of sell outs as we are seeing through the TPA and TPP bills.

What the GOP pundits are afraid of is that Trump will tell the truth and people will listen. I can’t wait. :-)

I thought I followed the rules.

The quote from the article is in quotation marks.

My comments follow that, they are not in quotation marks.

I believe that is ok, no?

Nope. Not OK.When one posts, there is a separate blank text box which becomes comment 1.

I’ve actually never seen it done before. And you got away with it.

So the quoted text goes in the top box.

Then any comments, are in the bottom box? A poster can include more text quoted in the bottom box, or comments, in which case what I did would be fine and dandy.

But do not include comments, in the top section. Is that what you’re saying?

A total of 300 words total from sources that must be excerpted. I know that AP is a special - only a couple of sentences allowed and I have seen Fox articles shortened by Mods. If in doubt, click keyword copyrightlist.

AM: would you correct me if I am steering wrong here?

Thanks moderator.

I would also like to hear the explanation. I thought I have remained within the guidelines, and would like to know if any changes are in your mind in order.

Thank you very much.

Posting from sources that allow excerpts, 300 words is the limit.

At the bottom of the excerpt, put in a hotlink something like this: Excerpt, read more at [insert link here]

If it is a short article, 1/2 the text is all that is allowed.

If in doubt, go to the CopyrightList hotlink at the top of the screen and look for the source from which you are planning on posting.

In the future, only post text from the article/source in the body of the thread and start from the beginning of the article.

If you wish to point out part of the text past the 300 word mark, do a "snip" first. Still stay within the 300 word range.

Save your comments for the first post.

Thanks

Here are the first few paragraphs of the actual article:

Republicans are increasingly worried that a Donald Trump presidential candidacy could drag down their strongest field in recent memory.

“He’s an unwelcome distraction,” said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. “We already have so many candidates vying for attention, and he brings a sideshow element to the whole thing.”

Trump, a billionaire real estate mogul and reality TV star, has scheduled a “major” announcement from Trump Tower in New York City on June 16. Speculation is rampant that he will enter the White House race, one day after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) is virtually certain to make his own candidacy official.

Some Republicans remain skeptical that Trump will actually join the field, however. He has flirted with running in every cycle since 2000, most notably in 2012, when he was briefly at the top of the GOP polls. But he’s never taken the plunge.

Roger that. Can I comment within the first post, in the comment section?

So I post starting from the beginning of the article in the section titled “Body of Thread”, no more than 300 words. With no extra comments.

Then can I add a comment in the “Body of Comment” section of the first post, but in the lower section (not with the article)?

Thanks for the feedback. Best regards.

Yes, the “comment section” is technically the first post.

Seems like you’ve got it down, don’t forget the live link at the bottom of the excerpt.
