If he were in the debates, it would be must-see TV, said GOP strategist Ford OConnell. It would also be tragic for the party, because we have a real chance to win the White House in 2016, and Republican primary voters want to hear more from others.
I disagree.
Trump is on the mark in so many things.
It is our establishment who have abandoned the right principles.

Four more days, until Trump either announces he's a candidate for the presidency.
Or we all find out we have been hoodwinked.
I believe Trump is running, and I believe he is thus far, the only candidate to vote for.
Hurricane Donald?
Seriously? He’s not quite that big of a blow hard.
How many GOP candidates will we have after Donald announces? I’m running out of fingers and toes to count them all.
Hurricane Donald, my azz. A fart in a hurricane, maybe...but that's all. Mega-ego working overtime.
Yep. Trump is all hat and no cattle.
In some ways I agree with you.
However nobody else is saying American needs to bring back jobs to America.
That issue has a lot of pull, in both parties, and will tide Donald very well on the stump.
I believe he is poised for a very competitive race.
Right...and he is usually talking through it.
I think he should run as an independent, and I think he would win.
He would only need a plurality in a state to get its electoral votes. I suspect there's enough anger out here in the real world to make a Trump presidency possible.
The campaign would sure be more entertaining than anything since Ross Perot. People forget....Perot actually had a longshot chance the first time if he'd chosen an impressive VP running mate.
If we continue to send more and more lawyers to Washington our economy is going continue its downward slide...
We need some business leaders to step forward and take on the stinking lawyers before they completely destroy our country....
Trump isn’t able to fulfill the financial disclosure requirements...you think the Clintons’ finances are a mess..wait until you see Donald’s..and there is no way he can, or would, put his holdings into a blind trust if elected..
You make it sound like an either/or proposition.
Whose requirements are those?
There are three levels of legitimate requirements (really only two) - First, the constitution (35 years old, natural born, resident previous 14 years), Second, the voters (who now choose the electors), Third, the good opinion of the 538 electors themselves.
There are no other requirements.
Also, suppose he won..he'd have to put his assets in a blind trust, or liquidate them..he won't do either..
trump is a buffoon..he gave interviews to the NY POST saying that "sex with Melanie ( his third wife) is the best ever..
Really?
You can set any requirements you like FOR YOUR VOTE, and you should.
But none of the absurd folderol that now envelops and eventually ruins any real leader who engages in “running for President” is a requirement. Perhaps Demos is sick of flattery and ready for a change.
I’m glad Melanie is making Donald happy.
What about his show? Was it canceled? I thought he couldn’t do both.
I have two words for you...Ross Perot
Trump will beat the drum...”MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
If anyone can do it...it’s Trump.
He’s already committed to building the ‘best’ wall in the World to keep illegals out. He will bring America back. At this point I’m totally done with the current crop of numb-asses.
Just because he's saying it doesn't mean he has any idea how to do it.
