I pay for eset, and use the free version of super antispyware. I update it every morning and run for spyware, it just takes a few minutes.

I have Super anti-spyware and malwarebytes on my computer, both free.
I use super anti-spyware to get rid of cookies, and as a second opinion scan, but malware bytes is more aggressive, and it is the best of those two.
Do you run adblock plus as you surf?
Install Chrome or Firefox, or both, and see if you get ads on those browsers.
Whilst curing my client's computer, I had them shift over to Firefox, while I figured out the Chrome problem.
I haven't used the current versions of IE, but I'll check for your problem. Remember the expression: "You aren't the first person with this problem."
