Thanks. As a meeting I was at yesterday I wrote the date in my notebook and then remarked “June 6”. The response I got was, “no it’s June 5” to which I replied “no, it was June 6”.
Nobody but the other “old guy” in the room had a clue what I meant. All the others were gen x, y or H1B types. We have a lot of H1B types. Meetings are like sessions of the UN. I’m sick and tired of struggling to understand the heavy accents.
One 40 something, a French Canadian, knew what I meant.
The nation is lost folks.
