ACTUALLY
What the article says is NOT that the “Prehistoric settlers in Scotland similar to first peoples of North America or Australia”.
What the article says is that THEY LIVED IN SIMILAR FASHION to what early colonists observed about native Americans (no stone structures; likely burned off some tree growth creating more pastures where animals would graze, and on the pastures were easier to hunt, and other aspects).
Living similarly is not the same as the people themselves being “similar”, as in (what the phrase implies), physically - stature and other identifiable differences in physical features, or culturally - same stylistic versions of items the peoples made.
