Police in San Jose are finding themselves the victims of a crime, after someone stole copper wire at the Police Activities Leagues baseball field.
According to authorities, wire was taken from one of the light stands. Police said the fix is going to be expensive and take a while.
Theres two different light towers, and since one of the light towers isnt working, theres the possibility that we might have to cancel some games in the future, Sgt. Jim Ureta of the San Jose Police Department told KPIX 5.
Police estimate it would cost $25,000 to get the lights working again.
Two big tournaments are scheduled to be played on the field in July.

This sort of “crime” is often just a quaint custom from across the border. San Jose is being culturally insensitive.

In my erstwhile days I was an electrician. Whenever I came on a house call that had aluminum wire, I never touched any of it. Wouldn’t work with it.

A good example for NEVER having aluminum siding put on your house or garage. If there is any value to anything you own, some bastard will try to steal it.

Yep....them meth-heads have to find a way to pay for their fix. Things that make life better fr others simply don’t matter.
Only one solution.
